    For Those Who

There were seven of us in two cars travelling back 200 miles to the midlands. You dont get home until 9 or 10pm anyway so why rush out before the end. Your mad if you dont stay and see it all. I couldnt believe the ten minutes before half time exodus myself, There must be some right alchies among us if they have to miss crucial parts of the game to squeeze ahead for the half time pint. Doug. The half time pie and pint brigade are even more annoying than the early leavers imo. Even more annoying when they bring their Balti Pasty back to their seat and proceed to consume it in front of you...eh, GeJon?

Wonder which category Beyewatch falls into? I've no idea. At least he actually goes to games. Unlike some...

    For Those Who

I presume a fair number of people leaving the game early may be doing so because they've got long journeys home to ensure and want to get out of town before the post-match traffic snarls up. Well, maybe some of them. Others will just be fairweather fans - and we know what we think of them, don't we?
  6. He'll be loving the attention though.
  7. quite right, the bloke should just earmark his entire wealth for NUFC aswell, selling his huge house and living in a carvan at the least. If he carries on the way he has reputedly been doing on the stock markets, it won't be long before that whole caravan deal happens for real...
  8. All speculative NOTW bollocks aside, on a theoretical level of course it is entirely feasible and plausible that Ashley may want to jump ship, especially if his own financial position was to become precarious in the current economic climate...but if anything, I'd argue the current market "crisis" is more likely to see Ashley wanting to stay and shore things up at SJP, so he can build on his existing investment.
  9. The inevitable "he's not been the Messiah, just a very naughty boy" gag. Poor effort, Lineker.

Ah yes. The car as penis extension. Or in this case, as penis substitute.

    Who HAS TO go?

Voted Barton - horrible useless little runt.
  13. Difficult one to call, for me it's Rob Lee, but only by a fraction...Pedro, Sir Les, Shearer, Ginola, but also Phillipe!

    My Eventful Day

    Oh seriously, get a brain.
  15. The day after his return to the Toon, I went into the office and was greeted by various smug bastards sniggering at the latest twist in the St James Park soap opera. When asked for my reaction, there was only one thing I could say: "Only at Newcastle". At the time, it felt like a dangerous game of chicken: about as dangerous as screwing your first love again on the sofa while the missus lies dozing in bed upstairs. There was a brief frisson, goose bumps, as you remember the good times of old, but also that slight fear that this affair could be potentially disastrous, too. I'm still not sure whether the appointment was a good idea. But even if it doesnt work out, as Mick and others have already said, I can't begrudge him another try, such is my affection for the guy. He knows the Toon like no other manager around possibly could, he knows what we want. I just hope he can deliver it. I fear what it would do to him if he failed here this time. He's still not over England yet. This would break him.

Much though I hate to say it, you know I'm a Keeganite through and through, but I think you're clutching at straws mate. Would love to be proved wrong, but I think he's lost his special powers.

He's gay as well as ginger?
  19. Oh I dunno like. Newcastle fans have benefitted from Sunderland's relegation a few times, if only to take the edge off otherwise mediocre seasons of underachievement by ourselves.
  20. Why did they want to leave?
  21. In the first half we were too worried about getting beaten to try and win it, the second half was more relaxed, the second half performance and point gained tonight will change the way we approach the Fulham game. Just like the preformance against Blackburn changed the way we approached the Liverpool game? This team has been way too hit and miss this year for me to trust their ability to turn the corner off one good preformance. Indeed. Which is precisely why they'll now go on an unbeaten run to the end of the season. Watch and see if I'm wrong.
  22. Gerraway man. She's got a mighty fine rack, like. http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/3264/51245785qn9.jpg
  23. Interesting logic...so, if you take out a few of your teeth, would your grin be more or less annoying?
