Calm down girls. We'll get beat. -
I'm suggesting there is no need to be charging WAC more than they already pay (£4500) per season. Another 3k has killed them stone dead.
-
Relying on a hero I think but don't think anything is in the pipeline. ,NUFC could easily coverALL the costs. Perhaps it's NUFCs wish to have exclusive use of the pitch without the hassle of having WAC play their games there.

Signing for South Shields I've heard.

passed away this morning. RIP. 44 years old.

It was Shane Warne who said: "Monty Panesar hasn't played 33 tests, he's played 1 test 33 times" – a reference to his limited approach.....

If Mitro contributed to winning matches to compensate for his criminal lack of a goalscorer's instinct, he'd not get anywhere near as much stick. The fact is he doesn't, and Murphy's goals have won us matches. Strikers should be judged on goals scored, first and foremost. Murphy is just better at scoring than Mitrovic as the stats will show. How many assists has Mitro gotten whilst not scoring? You've argued against you own point here. The stats are remarkably similar considering one player gets thrown under the bus and the other doesn't. In the league: Mitro - 4 goals, 4 assists Murphy - 5 goals, 1 assist If you include the cup games, they both have 6 goals but Mitro has 3 more assists still. Mitro also has a higher pass % (65.1% to 53.1%) Mitro has played 300 more minutes like but his minutes have been in much smaller segments (ie, coming on late in a lot of games) and therefore reducing the ability to make an impact. Also for the myth that Murphy has "won us more matches/points etc." No, he really hasn't. Even ignoring the assists and just basing it on the goals, it's very close run. Mitro: 4 goals, 4 assist: worth 13 points Leeds (h) - assist - 1 point Wolves (a) - goal - 3 points Preston (a) - 2 goals - 3 points QPR (a) - assist and goal - contributed to the points but didn't win them solely Cardiff (h) - assist - 3 points Derby (h) - assist - 3 points Murphy: 5 goals, 1 assist: worth 6 points, 12 even if you claim the Huddersfield/Rotherham as matchwinners. Ipswich (a) - goal - earned us nothing Fulham (h) - goal - earned us nothing Huddersfield (a) - goal - contributed to the points but didn't win them solely Brighton (a) - gets an assist for Diame's freak goal - 3 points Rotherham (h) - goal - contributed to the points but didn't win them solely Brentford (a) - goal - 3 points You need to find a girlfriend.

The problem is however that this goes beyond purely today's game and there's a more valid criticism of the way we've been playing for months now, even though you've been insisting on here that we've been playing well. Our modus operandi is attempting to grind out narrow results, in a way that more often than not has had me either bored fucking shitless or frustrated and on the edge of my seat. There's only so much you can do with a rigid system lacking width or movement, and relying on a prolific striker and a watertight defence. This has finally blown up in our faces as the pressure of the season has cranked up, but honestly it's been threatening for a while. There's an argument to be made that we lack the personnel to play a more expansive way, and I am inclined to agree with that, as I posted on here a couple of weeks ago. I don't however think that a rigid 4-2-3-1 is the ONLY fucking option we have. Rafa has been taking the piss with his stubbornness and way of playing and honestly if we do end up not going up there has to be serious questions asked of his position. That said, that's IF we don't go up. Rafa is stealing his wage at this moment in time. Agree with pretty much all that was posted. The football is shite and now results are matching performance. That was embarrassing today.

Comfy 1-2 win for Morpeth. Shields dominated the first 44 minutes and 45 seconds them Morpeth scored with their only effort in the first half. Morpeth dominated the 2nd half scoring again before Shields had a mini revival scoring a canny goal - too little too late. Shields have definitely hit a wall the last few weeks. Too many mid season departures leaving the squad mentally fragile. They've looked weary. Still a great season though.

Newcastle United v Leeds United - 14/04/17 @ 19:45 (Live on Sky)

Can't see us getting anything. (no surprises there then....) Bottled lesser games than this. Leeds generally on the up since we beat them down there. I hope I'm wrong - three more wins puts us back on the gravy train. -
Its the tactics and style of play that stifle the performance. Your telling me that what Rafa has at his disposal after all the money HE has spent that we shouldn't already be home and dry? This place would be in f***ing meltdown if any of our recent managers had pulled that result / performance yesterday. Would you rather he wasn't manager then, maybe have one of those previous idiots in charge? We're almost about to go back up at the first attempt which is vital for our clubs existence and we have been a basket case of a club for years. Surely you need to look at the bigger picture? We went in to yesterday 10 points clear of 3rd place? We should be on the front foot from the off....boring negative shit - the back four passin sideways one way then the other how many fucking times? Ask that back 4 to do some basic defending and they couldn't.

He's playing percentage football to mitigate the potential for errors. That's why Mbemba's not been anywhere near all season. He's a fucking braindead. Given what's he's achieved this season, with largely a bag of shite, he's bulletproof in my mind. He's done well, but I wouldn't say bulletproof. Nobody else would've achieved promotion with this rabble imho. Very true. Fucking rubbish.

There is no home and away ends in the Northern League. Stand where you want.
