The fact he gets a nose bleed when he crosses the half way line is the biggest justification for criticism imho. He's very rarely a let down defensively. Overall he's done a decent job at this level but will need to be replaced should we go up.

It's a massive postive the connection between him and the fans in terms of the teams belief. When your team is 1 down and not playing that well, to have a completely united front and belief in the leader generates a response/commitment that you wouldn't get from a Pardew/McLaren side imho (regardles of team quality).

Something really quite distasteful about this performance and result TBH.

At the beginning of the season, when we see Huddersfield (a) and then Reading (a) next I don't think anyone is that arsed. It's a shock that both of them are in the positions they're in and when you chuck into the mix the Brighton game then it's obviously a tough week. As you say, if we can come out of it, with 6-7 points then most of us will breathe a bit sigh of relief.
