I thought he was really good yesterday and felt Perez should have come off before him as Ayoze's legs looked shot. I was vociferously against his signing and can now see that he can have a positive impact for where we are now as a club.

I was at Southampton away and he was actively hiding from the ball. Literally making himself unavailable for possession by running into blind alleys/busy zones. He'll be one of the first away when we go down. I'd be staggered if he's not got his next move lined up already.

Not sure why you would have to whisper it? Anybody who has a decent game deserves recognition for it and I'm sure the majority would give it if they felt so. Whisper it because he'll be shite again next game.

So? So it's hardly worth getting excited about such a pedestrian performance. We were not good by any means. 3-0 flattered us but I was pleased to see us execute a game plan and show some discipline. It seemed to me that Rafa realised they were going to have the ball a lot, as they always do, so rather than run around kicking them getting dragged out of shape we invited them on and pressed them well. We gave nothing away all day, everybody stuck to their task and he picked a team that best suited his tactics rather than trying to get say Shelvey to cover the ground. Lascelles was exceptional and Townsend wasn't far behind, showed good work ethic which I hadn't really seen from him before. It wasn't a vintage performance by any means but I imagine we'll set up exactly the same on Tuesday. I'd say we were very compact and agree that Lascelles and Townsend did well but, let's not forget how much possession and how many chances they had before we got the second. This could, and possible should, have been very different.

I've been to games all over the country, from Newcastle to Southampton, and I still haven't seen this man. I've been looking but never found him.

Just watched the game on Football First and can't believe how poor a relection the scoreline is of the game. There's no way we were three goals better.

But him being capable of it doesn't matter when he never provides it anymore and instead just stops our attacks. Well for everyone's sake I hope he proves everyone wrong and is MOTM. How many chances does he need? He's been fucking garbage for ages. One good game every few months doesn't suddenly make him an asset. Accommodating cunts like him is a major factor in our downfall.
