  1. Of course it is. As proven when he joined QPR.
  2. He's a poor footballer. Good athlete but we might as well stick Jessica Fucking Ennis in the starting 11 if that's what we're looking for from our players. At least she's good to look at.
  3. You forgot inflation. And National Insurance.
  4. Sounds like my time on N-O to be honest.
  5. Didn't put a foot wrong when he came on.
  6. Genuine question..............would you take Rooney over: Aguero Ibra Suarez
  7. Can't help but think they've been forced into a corner with that one. Rooney goes the pressure cooker boils over, he stays and they pay through the nose for it. Long term deal too. Ouch.
  8. Bellamy, at times, was outstanding. I think the argument for his inclusion in any squad comes from the fact that he was a really unique player - lightning quick, aggresive, alert and he created a fuck load of attacking momentum. There's not another forward in our recent history that you can liken to Bellamy really and, for that reason, you've got listen to any argument including him in an all time 11. If we were picking teams for effectiveness and ability to actually blend together as a team (rather than best 11 stand out individuals) you'd have to seriously consider Bellamy because he could play alongside anyone really. An Andy Cole, a Shearer (as proven), a Ba or Big Les. Bellamy is one of my favourite players to have played in B&W tbh, would love to have a player like him now. Thinking about it, Bellamy and Andy Cole (in his NUFC prime) would have been unbelievable - lightning quick and unplayable at times. Defenses would have such a deep line to prevent getting caught in behind or left 1 on 1 in a race.
  9. He really looked the part at the time for a kid. Was great at keeping possession and whatnot. His career never really progressed after the SBR era. Turned out to be a journeyman midfielder when, at the time, he had the world at his feet.
  10. He was immense in his first season, outstanding.

    Players in public

Of the crap he signed (a lot just to put together a reserve side remember), Perez is the one that pisses you off? He was just signed as the token 3rd choice keeper behind Shat & Harper (see Caig here, Richard Wright at City, etc) after Pav & Shaka left. It's the principle...........A f***ing rank mackem keeper. Most of the s**** he signed, most of them played, so the reserve argument is somewhat nulled. I was talking the likes of Pinas, Gudjonsson, Coppinger, Perez... He also signed quality and a big spine of the Robson team (Given, Dabizas, Speed, Solano) He had an eye for a player in the same way Stevie Wonder does. Fucking useless, dour old cunt. He mullered that KK team. The PLC did that as well. Not to the extent KD did.
  13. I wouldn't put Ba anywhere near the squad personally.

  15. Aye - JB wouldn't get anywhere near our top 50 players over the Premier League era.
  16. Looks like someone took Harry Potters dad to the match.

  18. Agree on both counts. The main full backs in KK's sides (Beresford, Hottinger, Barton etc etc) wouldn't touch the modern day full back imho and, whilst Bernard was immense for that 18 month period, I've not seen a better LB than Enrique. Really? I might be looking back with rose-tinted glasses but I can't recall anything in the Ginola / Robert / Gillespie's remit being to protect their respective full backs, where the past few years protecting the full back seems to be one of our wingers top one tasks. Maybe but the more recent fullbacks would've improved the teams of yesteryear imho. And that's based on. The current pairing are floundering in an average team and they only have to do a quarter of the job that they're supposed to be doing. That's based on having watched live every home game of the KK and SBR eras and the fact that Enrique and Beye are far better players than Bez and Barton or any other full back during those managerial tenures.
  19. It was a spelling error tbf. He meant to say GINOLA......bloody iphones.

  21. What a player Scott Sellars was btw. Great cross on him.
  22. If we're talking about ability, I'd have Hamann & Cabaye. Lee gets in because he was class over a period of time plus he adapted his game towards the end under Sir Bobby, but as stand alone players and as a potential pairing, f***ing hell they'd have been something. In their primes, Lee and Cabaye would've offered a lot more going fee than Hamman with either IMHO.
  23. Venners over Debuchy/Beye? I always thought Venison was better at CB during his latter playing days.
