  1. On a good run at the minute. Probably my best ever.
  2. That's a very interesting bet. Great odds given the ability and form of the 3 players.
  3. Martinez always sets his teams up well against us and the common theme is in their positivity.
  4. Thought it would've been bigger.
  5. I know it sounds ridiculous but I fancy the mackems to get something tonight.
  6. Gone for a BTTS accumulator this weekend: Sheff Weds Vs Watford MK Dons Vs Wolves Leyton Orient Vs Bradford Bolton Vs Wigan Leyton Orient being the riskiest one I should think. £10 returns £100 on that. Also got a BTTS double on tonight: Liverpool Vs Sunderland West Ham Vs Hull £10 returns £50.
  7. Had a decent night even though I stupidly fancied Man Utd pre-kick off and stuck £20 on them. Had Everton -1 @ 10/3 Lukaku anytime @ 6/4 Wolves & York double at 5/2 Wolves kept me sweating having been 3-0 up but those 3 results more than made up for the stupid decision to back Man Utd.

Whilst that's a hell of an exodus, there's probably not that many that you would choose to have in your squad were you to be promoted next year. I should imagine Short would keep investing which would probably mean a couple of 'big names' for that division and perhaps some younger kids with good potential. Coupled with incoming loan signings and you'd be back in with a shout. The key would probably be to keep Poyet and then let him ingrain his footballing methodology throughout the squad/club and then add to it. To change philosophy mid-season must be difficult, especially with some players he would never choose and some who probably aren't even capable of adapting to it. In some respects, I imagine a relegation is what you need to clear the decks but, in other, you'd absolutely have to come straight back up. Even just the salaries of O'Shea and Brown alone are probably enough to cover half of a first eleven of other clubs in the Championship. It's a strange league the Championship these days and you'd be doing well to totally dominate it. Edit: I still don't see you going down (think you'll pull of some surprise results between now and the end of the season) and also think the likes of Bardsley, Johnson and Cattermole would stick around.
  9. I also like a penalty to be scored tonight at 3/1.
  10. Red card bet looks interesting. 3's for RM to get one and 2's for Barca.

  13. Good night. Had lumped on Chelsea (£200 returned £290.00) and then over 2.5 goals in QPR&Wigan games (£10 returned £41) and over 4 cards in the Chelsea game (£10 returned £17). Only loser was my 3-1 bet on Chelsea.
  14. Over 2.5 goals double for: Sheff Wed Vs QPR Wigan Vs Yeovil. Returns 3/1.
  15. Have lumped on Chelsea tonight in a big way.
  16. Agree with that but can't see that we won't invest in a 'goalscorer' when Remy fucks off and Cisse is sold. We'll have to. Surely?
  17. Better without creating one memorable chance? How the fuck does that work? First half was awful, like a pre-season friendly. Second half they completely dominated. Other than the Cisse miss we didn't test their keeper once. They, on the other hand, did test Krul regularly.
  18. Was a good post till this s****. 2 disallowed goals, total 2nd half dominance, hardly any NUFC attacking play nor chances yet you think that was an incorrect statement? You can't think of more than 3 good performances this season? Really? I only watched football first but it seemed like a game nobody deserved to win tbh. Both teams were dreadful. Really. I can count on one hand how many stand out performances we've delivered since AP was appointed, but I guess you didn't want to read that either? Make no mistake, Fulham were the only side who deserved anything from the game after the second half performances. First half was a non-event from both sides. Cisse misses a glorious chance, LDJ then gets wiped out from behind, they go up other end and Krul has a horror moment. That seperated the two sides in 90 minutes. Wouldn't say it was a deserved win tbh. Thought both teams were as bad as each other. Man Utd, Chelsea, Palace, West Ham, Hull. There's 5 standout good performances this season alone. Maybe your standards of a standout performance differ from mine. Actually, scrub that, there's no maybe about it. We wouldn't think anything of beating the likes of Hull City, Palace, West Ham in the KK or SBR days. It was expected. Man Utd 5-1. That's a standout performance. Sheff Wed 8-0 Leicester 7-1 They are stand out performances. As for the match last Saturday, perhaps you had to be there. Two shite sides, one applying themselves properly in the second half, the other showing the attacking intent of a granny at a knitting class. The disallowed goals and 2nd half domination make it a very hard case to argue to be quite honest. Not only that but the Linesman on the cottage side of the pitch had an absolute mare, giving them nothing. He wouldn't have got out of St James's alive.
  19. . There's not enough use of that word Dave. The world needs more spittle-ites.

    Papiss Cissé

I should imagine we'll have to keep playing him in an attempt to get his sale value up a bit for the summer.
  22. Aye - noticed on a few occasions how often Tiote was spraying balls out wide in an attempt to open the game up. I'm a big Anita fan but felt he got a bit lost on Saturday tbh.
