cud be the most expensive 35 million ever, if it goes tits up. And not unthinkable CP, either. The lads a talent but there are still many question marks over him and he's a huge gamble at £35m.
-
I doubt it very much.
-
I'd be surprised if he didn't tbh.
-
Will he shite - he'll harp on about 'if a player wants to go then a club has no choice...................etc etc'. The company line. PR exercise all over it today. Hope AC is honest about it at his presser. Well AC will tow the line as well won't he? He can hardly arrive at Liverpool for a massive fee and say he didn't really want to go there. He'll have been made to sign some form of confidentiality agreement with NUFC anyhow would be my guess. The truth will out though.

Just like a puppet on a string.............................

He's actually a player who is decent and would be very good for us. Think he's improved since he left. The worrying thing is that we are going after a left winger when we desperately need a decent striker now Carroll has gone. It seems the club have every faith in the forwards we have left. He's a whiny cunt - I'm sure 'the group' would love the sulky little cunt. He's not worth £12m.
-
I wouldn't want the cunt back, we don't need a left sided midfielder and nor is he worth £15m.
-
Why the fuck would we spank 33% of our record recieved fee on a moody little fuckwit we don't need? Absolute joke of a bid.
-
Yep.
-
£10m bid rejected. Fucking PR exercise.
-
Ridiculous.
-
Pleased with this signing.
-
Unlike King Kev the fromer glazier does not have mega bucks in the bank to do so. Nor Morals. He took the job before Chris Hughton was fired ffs. He was absolutely desperate and signed on to take it in whichever way Ashley wanted him to. A yes man if ever I've seen one ffs.
-
Even better - why doesn't he report without Mike Ashley feeding him his fucking lines.
-
Yep - should be up for an Oscar because he performed to the script perfectly. Director: Mike Ashley Lead Actor: David Craig Extra: Andy Carroll/His Agent
-
Don't be silly - boosted his value man.
-
We rejected an offer to get a better price. It's called negotiating. When we got our price, we were willing to sell him, but Ashley didn't want to alienate the fans, which he would have done for the umpteenth time. So he told Carroll to stick a transfer request in, and now he can say 'look, I rejected a bid and he handed a transfer request in so I just made sure Liverpool paid good money for him'. It's PR, man. You're daft if you think this stuff doesn't happen regularly. And you're daft if you think Carroll would roll over and accept it. "Oh yeah, of course I'll make myself look like a dick Mike. See ya." £3.5m lump sum + Treble his ages + Massive profile/exposure + Agent Pressure. = Morals out of the window

I wouldn't worry - we'll be buying him back in three years for £6m.
