Think we'll need this during the run-in......................So, today, we couldn't have asked for more luck; Blackburn humped and their goal difference given a bashing Boro/Portsmouth both drop points. Stoke beaten. Sunderland beaten. Hull draw (obviously!) Think todays win for Fulham makes them safe. A win for us today would've gone a bloody long way. Thought it might be useful to use this thread to discuss all rivals results as the season comes to a nail biting close.

I'd learn to live with it if the club guaranteed the funds would go towards youth development and investing in the future of the club rather than sacrificing our soul for one 'Kevin Nolan' per year.

Had a daft few quid on the Champions League this afternoon; Treble on Chelsea, Man Utd & Inter to draw and Lyon. £1 = £90. I've also taken any two from the three selections above to come in. I've then stuck a fiver on Chelsea as a single. Probably fuck all chance but I quite fancy Lyon for a shock and they're 9/1.

How many has he played against? And in how many of those games was he fully fit? Say what you want about the Owen purchase but buying him is buying guaranteed goals. It's also guaranteed injuries, with his history of strains, sprains and brittle bones. I believe his goal away at Birmingham last season was our turning point to survival personally and I'd pay it all again if he can bag enough goals to keep us up this year.
