  1. Fonseca doesn't seem to stay long in job. Average of 2 years per club 2005–2007 - Estrela Amadora (youth) 2007–20081 - Dezembro 2008–2009 - Odivelas 2009–2011 - Pinhalnovense 2011–2012 - Aves 2012–2013 - Paços Ferreira 2013–2014 - Porto 2014–2015 - Paços Ferreira 2015–2016 - Braga 2016–2019 - Shakhtar Donetsk 2019–2021 - Roma
  2. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-new-era-staff-21881792 The former Hull City fitness coach has left his role with Steve Bruce's backroom team Newcastle United fitness coach Cristian Fernandez has parted company with the Magpies after half a decade of service. The rehab expert joined the club during the Rafa Benitez era on Tyneside but remained on board under Steve Bruce. The former Hull City and Northampton Town backroom member says he is leaving on good terms but becomes the first staff change of the club's new era. Speaking on his personal Twitter feed Fernandez said: "After more than five years it is time to say goodbye. "I want to thank Newcastle United for giving me the opportunity to live great experiences enjoying this amazing Toon, where we have felt at home. "But above all for being able to meet so many good people who helped me grow personally and professionally." And speaking about the club's recent takeover by a Middle East consortium, he added: "I wish you the best of luck in this exciting time for the city. "I hope to see you soon. "Thank you very much."
  3. On 21 August 2020, Hiddink was appointed manager of the Curaçao national team.[66] After failing to lead the nation to 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, Hiddink contracted COVID-19 in 2021, prompting Patrick Kluivert to step in as interim manager of the team.[67] On 9 September 2021, Hiddink officially stepped down as head coach of Curaçao and announced his managerial retirement at the age of 74.[68]
  4. Amanda going for broke here .....If Bruce manages to win the game, he gets the full 8M payout without delay. If he loses, he only gets 70% of it. Bruce can do without the 30% if he gets to sign off his managerial career on a high - 1000th game and a Win
  5. Some of the Managers who have declined may be trying to be kind or diplomatic since technically their old pal Brucie is still in place. Once he gets the boot, they could be more open. Although I imagine if any were really keen, their Agents would have been in contact .
  6. Sir John Hall admitted he knew nothing about football when he first invested. He hit the jackpot when Keegan came on board. Will be the same for Consortium. Find the right Management structure, support them and let them do the work !
  7. If Bruce stays, other than spoiling what will be a out of the world atmosphere, losing to Spurs won't not mean too much in bigger scheme of things. There are still 30 games to go and we finally have hope of a good January transfer window and a whole new Management structure in place including new coaching team. With current squad, we will not be relegated. Many of the teams in bottom half of table are also relegation candidates with limited funds to improve their team.. We don't need to outrun the bear, just faster than 3 other teams.
  8. He's gone as far as he can at Leicester and he leaves with a high of the FA Cup.
  9. If Owen Brown and Frank McParland advises PCP on next DoF & Manager, who advises PIF if PCP's recommendations are sound?

    Rafa Benítez

Rafa's pals - Owen Brown and Frank Mcparland are Football Advisors to the Consortium. I'm sure if Rafa is in the running; perhaps not now but end of season.

    Amanda Staveley

Not trying to piss on the parade but Amanda has some health issues and hopefully the stress of managing the club will not exacerbate her problem. We need her to be around for a long while and be in good health to enjoy our upcoming success ! A strong support team will be crucial https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/11400215/amanda-staveley-newcastle-model-prince-andrew/ HUNTINGTON'S DISEASE In 2013, Amanda was diagnosed with Huntington's disease - a degenerative disorder that affects people later in life. When the cruel illness takes effect, sufferers' brain functions begin to slowly decline and mood swings, memory loss, as well as involuntary body movements are just some of the symptoms she could face. She was told by doctors that the disease is dormant, but could be triggered through stress and pressure at work. Amanda discovered she had inherited the Huntington's gene from her mum Lyne - a former champion show-jumper - when she was tested before starting her own family at 37. "The stress brings on the onset of the disease, and the disease is fatal," she revealed to the Mail on Sunday. And she is the first to admit it has made her difficult for her husband, Mehrdad Ghodoussi, who she married in 2011. "I have the most incredibly patient and loving husband. I didn’t want to get married when I found out about the disease – but he said he didn’t care, and that we would find the best medical care available."
  13. Are wages part of the FFP calculations or just purely transfer fees?

Couldn't find anything on Joanne Mills but is there a typo in name list as this is a Female name? Other than that, Iain is a writer/journalist and Barclay is a Director of Shuswap Capital Ltd. Interesting links ......

  16. Good to be able to nail the submission of documents down first and not have constant moving targets.
  17. IT IS ORDERED THAT: 1. The Defendant is granted an extension of time in which to file and serve its evidence in reply until 5pm on 12 July 2021. Today is the day ! Hopefully no more time delaying tactics so we can close this soonest possible ...
  18. Problem is PL is based in England and operates under English law. International or Saudi laws may not be applicable.
  19. And we've been clamouring for Rafa?
  20. If Martinez does return to club football, hopefully he doesn't take Jones with him

    Joe Willock

Then there's the issue of busting the whole transfer budget to sign Willock only for next manager to prefer someone else ....So it could be Bruce comes with Willock package
  22. Any (Positive) updates now that Eid is over? Counting down the days ....
  23. Announcing this only after we are safe. Playing mind games heh :-)
  24. https://www.oracle.com/news/announcement/premier-league-selects-oracle-cloud-infrastructure-2021-05-06/ This press release is dated 06 May 2021. Not sure if this means EPL has just recently switched cloud server provider. But I'm assuming even if they have just switched, the emails and all correspondence from past years will need to be properly filed and accounted for. And not a case of "Sorry, we had a major server migration error and some emails & minutes were lost"
