Agreed. I'm sure most of us at the moment would get far more enjoyment & satisfaction from Newcastle stringing a few decent results together (if anyone can remember back that far), than fans the fans of Manure get from winning most things.

Gave up on the game as I can't bear the rim job Liverpool every time they are on ITV. I bet Tyldesley blew his load when Kuyt scored.

That concept is alien to me, don't think it's possible when you are a Newcastle supporter! Sitting here trying to simply remember the last Newcastle goal that I was proud of. I'm going to have to go with Martins' goal against Bolton first day of the season where he took a cross on his chest and bicycled it into goal. Of course at this time I was still delirious with hope of the top half of the table and a strong attacking side. We could use a moment of brilliance like that today. God that seems like a long time ago, were we not top of the league after that

Got a feeling that Smith may score tonight...

Certainly doesn't look like it was meant to be our year even if we beat Arse. God Liverpool are jammy!!!

Dunne - Would be a good addition, have been very impressed when I have seen him recently. Would be good to see him and Faye! Defoe - Would be fairly happy with depending on the price. SWP - Having a good season with Chelsea, really can't see any reason for them to selling him to us unless it is for a huge amount. Top priority has to be a creative centre midfielder, someone who can chip in with a decent amount of goals or at least be a good provider.

Good game, good game. Think Pearson deserves a tiny bit of credit Certainly finishes off what has been a crazy day, very nicely

Just wish we didn't have Arsenal away in the next round.
