Of course it's cheating you fucking idiots! A foul is cheating, which is why you get penalised for it, no matter where on the field or when. He cheated, and will pay the price by being suspended. Had he done it at 2-0 to Ghana, no one would care this much. It's the same "crime", only that he sacrificed himself for the team in a more crucial moment. I would certainly do the same if it was me.

Just been at my local pub here in Norway, where Bruce Grobbelaar, David Johnson, David Fairclough, Alan Kennedy og John Durnin were guests of the owner. 1 minute before Holland scored their first, David Johnson shouts out "They need to take off Robben. They won't win with him on the field". Oh, and Grobbelaar showed his class when some African immigrant (possibly from Côte d'Ivoire) came up to him and celebrated after the whistle had gone, telling him to get the fuck back where ever he came from. Isn't he from South-Africa?

Him scoring is definatly not for trying at least. I think he is the one with most shots in the WC so far. That's also why I don't think he deserves to be in the best 11 so far, even though he has played well. Can't help but think that he could have achieved so much more by passing the ball instead of going for glory on many of those occations. There's still time for him to make this "his" world cup though, and I think he will have a lot more space when facing better teams who won't man mark him through a whole game, like most teams up until now has done.

Yeah, I've got no problem with the goal being given for that exact reason, but I think it's pretty idiotic not to show it on replay just because of the fuzz about refereeing that's been going on latley.

Replay on my PC disagrees. Maybe im going insane then? Starting to doubt myself here, even though im almost certain that they mentioned it on TV, with replay and all. Sure it isn't just the video quality and lack of start/pause skills on your behalf that makes you think otherwise?

Did anyone see a replay of the ball that was cleared on the line for Argentina? Was it definatly not over? The producers didn't show us a replay of the incident here in Norway.

Hard to tell really, but I can't see Rosenborg demanding more then £3m for any player, with some future clauses involved perhaps.

I left Vittek in there just because of the game today, so I have no idea how he usually performs at club lever, so ok. Boateng and Annan are pacy, athletic and good at their respective jobs in midfield. We wouldn't get so easily over run in midfield like we have been used to the last two seasons with them. Both should be able to aquire at a pretty decent fee as well. Make it happen Ashley, I know you are just jerking us around

For "lacking experience", there are alot of the German players who played in the semis four years ago. Friedrich, Mertesacker, Lahm, Klose, Podolski, Jansen and Schweinsteiger. Bar Jansen (32 games?), none of these have less than 65 games for Germany. It's only in goal they lack experience.

Kevin Prince-Boateng, Anthony Annan and Robert Vittek to much to ask for? :-[
