They don't really have the players currently, Charlie Adam excepted, to play any other style that what Pulis has preached. If they go for a more pleasing style of play with their new manager then they will need to back him considerably and gut that whole squad, this a complete lack of creativity there.

The crazy thing about our attendances is we've achieved those levels having not won a thing for almost 44 years now, domestically 58 and a league title 86 years ago. We've had two short periods of relative success, with top 5 finishes yet we still pull in those crowds. If the success matched the supporters commitment we would need a much bigger stadium. Bar the John Hall era, the club has been terribly managed really not to tap in on the enormous potential we have. It's consistently aimed small time, and consistently achieved that.

Yeah wish him nothing but the best, terrific value for money signing, took a lot of stick on here, but really for what we paid for him and his wages we can't really complain. Sure he'll find a club pretty quickly.

I'm not as in love with Jol as a lot on this board. Everton need to get their next appointment right, with a aging squad, feel they are heading for a transitional period, so they need a manager that can help them rebuild.

Potentiallly could be a good move but very risky since Poyet hasn't managed at this level, big difference in the PL, just ask Bruce, Zola, McCarthy et al. I think Martinez will end up there, which is another appointment which could go either way.

The biggest concern for me in bringing him back is his injury record. Not played enough games over the last couple of years since we sold him. As a player though no doubt in my mind that this would be Pardew's wet dream. Since we are stuck with the clueless fuck then this is a must get done deal.

The biggest shake up we could do but we won't is change the man in charge. Obviously that's not gonna happen so , we need to replace Colo, we need another striker or two but other than that for additions I don't think we need much more. Get rid of some fat from the squad such as ameobi, willo and gosling. If we lose any of our better players like Benny and cabs, then obviously we'll need to replace them.
