Where , I don't see anything positive at all here, he's just fearful that they could sack. He would be stupider than stupid if he wasn't. Don't know why anyone is getting excited over this at all, when llambias of Ashley come out and say they are considering his position then I'll be more accepting that it might just happen. But really par dew saying he is worried about his job is not news worthy at all,

With all the euphoria surrounding the wigan Swansea game I had forgotten we still actually have to do something here, if we don't get a point at least then I think we are fucked. -
Nothing new here at all, just trying to play the poor me card I yam. Doesn't say Ashley has said anything to him at all. The guy will still be our manager day one of 2013/14 whatever division we are playing in, IMO.

Just catching up with this thread, but Dave is absolutely right here, people thinking Pardew is gone are getting way ahead of themselves. He still could be even if we stay up but the signs are not their that Ashley will ditch his pal at all. My gut feeling is that as Dave says there will be a lot of very disappointed people here. Personally I think he'll be gone 10 - 15 games into 2013/14 if we start the season like we have finished this one, by ten of course you can write off that season and we will have slim pickings for our next manager.

Very true

why? the shops selling the shirts and scarves will still be there for them to come from all over, dress up and wave flags, and not really understand whats going on on the pitch anyway. I was just watching the news, and, having got over the sheer wankness of it being the first story on the national news, they went to Old Trafford and asked a couple of spackers what they thought of it, and some total douchebag with a North American accent said it was as if someone had died. Yes, your stone cold, icy heart, that is what is dead, you revolting f***ing gloryhunter. I hope your plane back crashes. Lol that's priceless.

He started off actually pretty well there, but with then when seemingly backing Pardew for another year began to lose it completely. He's a terrible journo really, not sure what the Ronny Gill were thinking when they gave him the job. I don't even see a point in that. What? Give Pardew money in the summer? That hasn't been the problem. Is he so s*** scared of the club? He's kind of making the point that we should go back to the Freddie days I think. I agree Pardew has been given all the tools to get the job done, he's just not been able to do it, because he's a fucking terrible manager.

I think if Ashley's even considering sacking him then the summer is the best time to do it. There's no point in waiting until we're 10 games into next season, have crashed out of the League Cup and have a load of discontented players and fans. Plus whoever then takes over would need at least 5-10 games to get the players accustomed to their style of play so we'd already be halfway through the season. Another season of mediocrity and the better players would start getting itchy feet and we're back to rebuilding the squad. Just do it after the Arsenal game, replace him with someone competent and let them have a full pre-season to work with. If a new manager is making progress the better players would probably stick around for another year. I totally agree, but Ashley hasn't always done the right thing. He really shouldn't be in a job Monday morning after the Arsenal game, but I think he will be and will be when things kick off again for next season, closing the stable door after the horse has bolted will be how it goes down I'm afraid.

Very nice indeed, Adidas seem to be picking up their game again, after a few years of just being darn lazy.

I know the majority (well everyone bar Ian W ) wants the fraudster to be jettisoned even if we survive. But should we stay in the PL what are people's feelings on whether Ashley will actually sack him ? I think there's only about 10% chance of that happening, just think they are too pally and he's managed to pull the wool over there eyes with the EL, lack of investment in the summer and injuries. Mightn't last a month or two into the new season though if we don't get off to a good start.

I don't think Mourinho is a certainty yet, especially with the Manure job now open. But if he does leave Real, Real are looking, they might take another teams coach who we were looking for or the team that coach leaves is looking for the same guy we are. I could go on forever but the more clubs looking the more competition no matter who they are. But like I said this could also work in our favour if club chose to get rid of someone who we would like.
-
It will effect because of a trickle down. For example if Manure take Everton's manager, Everton need to fil a vacancy so they are in competition with us, but also if Chelsea take some guy from a club that has done well, then they are looking for a manager they take one from a team doing well, and so on and so forth. Don't underestimate the trickle down effect, of course we are not in the same market as Manure or Chelsea or Manshitty or Arsenal but we could well be in the same market as the clubs they take their new guys from.

I don't know if it's going to be a good or bad time to be looking for us (if and it's a huge if, they do the right thing and get rid of the plank in charge). On one hand there will be a ton of competition for the best managers available on another, some of those that are axed could be good fits for us. Obviously Manure will be looking, Chelsea will be, Everton may be too, Man Shitty and Arsenal are probably gonna stick with what they have IMO.
-
He's a twat of a man, and I will always hate him. But respect his record in the game at both Aberdeen and Manure. This could have a domino effect on the whole league, as managers shuffle around. I think Jose is the only person that can follow Ferguson and even he will need instant results, if Moyes is the favourite, I'm not sure that'll work out for them.
