I agree with his post but one thing I dont agree with it it he should have signed that contract right there. He was only 22 and at 22 he can't think of other option than play for a top 5 team at the time. Sourness is mean but Ollie was wrong to think other wise and not sign that contract there....

Obviously he 's not stupid he knew how to build a chain of downmarket sports shops and float it at a gross overvaluation, and trouser a billion in cash in the process. But his expertise in sports retail and selling his business to the City didn't stop him buying a football club without understanding anything about what he was getting into. Plenty of successful people have been arrogant enough to think they can transfer their skills into another industry only to find they were out of their depth. Great post that!

I think he will see it out......

In my BBC league predictor Blackburn is going down... We will finish 10 I had winning... The wolves , Birmngham and WBA games as win. Stock Blackpool and Villa draw and the rest losses... That's 13 points finishing us in 49 points...

Our No 1 striker at the moment..... I don't mind if he is the third one next year if we buy two good goalscorers..... Shola should be the forth one.... and we should loan Ranger at least until January....

Nobody bother to post this shame.... Newcastle midfielder Nolan hopes for continued success Nolan won the 2011 Sport Newcastle Sport Personality of the Year award Newcastle United midfielder Kevin Nolan is hoping his Sport Newcastle Personality of the Year award will be the platform for further success. The 28-year-old was recognised for helping the Magpies to promotion from the Championship and his efforts on their return to the Premier League. "This is only the beginning," Nolan told BBC Newcastle. "Hopefully I'll get a few goals between now and the end of the season and we'll finish in a respectable position." Nolan added: "I've had a great 2010 but I want to have a better 2011, and an even better 2012." The Liverpool-born midfielder has been a success following his £5m move from Bolton in January 2009, with 29 goals in 86 appearances. Meanwhile Newcastle's return to the Premier League following relegation in 2008-09 has seen the club climb to ninth in the table, despite a change of manager with Alan Pardew replacing Chris Hughton in December. "We've got a fan-base and a team of players that have a bond with this club," Nolan continued. "We're up and down because when we lose this whole city feels as though it's not smiling, but when we win it feels like it's sunny everyday and we're smiling, and it's that way because we live and breathe football. "We're trying to keep a level head, put it on an even keel and make it the top club that it is. "We're looking at one thing, and one thing only and that is to get to 40 points as quickly as possible."

Good deal for them..... I wish we had something new like this... Under Armour Inc. (UA) will provide jerseys and other team apparel to Tottenham Hotspur, giving the U.S. sportswear maker its first contract with a club in soccer’s richest league. The Baltimore-based company, which exceeded $1 billion in annual sales for the first time last year, said it will take over from the English Premier League team’s current supplier, Puma AG, at the start of the 2012-13 season. Terms of the five- year deal weren’t disclosed. Puma, Europe’s second-largest sporting-goods maker, signed a contract extension last year. Tottenham qualified for the Champions League for the first time after finishing fourth in England’s top division last season. It plays Italian league leader AC Milan in the second match of their round-of-16 encounter tomorrow after a 1-0 win in Italy on Feb. 15. Under Armour has been increasing its agreements with sports teams and athletes in recent years as it seeks to expand outside the U.S. As well as having deals with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and skier Lindsey Vonn to market its cotton performance T-shirts, it provides apparel for the Wales rugby union team.

I think Blackpool will go down...

I just still can not believe how we got him over Hughton? Given the support Pardew given from Ashley if Hughton got all the backing he would have been great... His signing are great obviously the best manager since we got since SBR. I can not say the same about Pardew.

Stock is playing very poorly.... if Barton plays and use our heads we can win it. I don't think Draw is a bad result as well.. -

he said "The support was unbelievable for me. The fans have been great since I signed and even when I was warming up, they were fantastic. It was an incredible atmosphere, definitely one of the best I've ever experienced." Yes he thinks yesterday is better than 5-1 to the mackem.... all those who thinks of home grown talent blah blah blah..... needs to examin their head.... -

I was not mad about this defeat ..... Everton was way better than us on the day period...... they wanted it more...... -
40 points wont do this year..... we need at least 42.... having said that we will finish with 46 or 48 points....
-
It just shows how unfairly we sack Hughton....... I don't think Pardow is a lesser manager but he is equal to Hughton.... it is just Hughton sacked unjustily
-
He is very good.... I like his headers...
