WATKINS!!!!!!!!! Will surely score soon?
-
Are 120 minutes at 110% really gonna affect Villa that much for Sat? They have the squad depth that we don't to help them cope.
-
If they can just pull a couple of hammies tonight as well that would be very nice.

Newcastle United vs. Crystal Palace: 16/04/25 @ 19:30 (Sky Sports)

Not sure what fixture seems more horrid - this or Villa. 4 points from these two would be an excellent return. -
Our hit rate with our relatively few transfers is unbelievable. What a player he has become. I think some of you may be right - his ban and how he was treated has instilled at strong sense of loyalty and work ethic, never mind help rapidly break down any language barriers.
-
Crowd has been very poor today

Man U looking half decent and well organised defensively tbh. Think they'll hit us with another goal on the counter second half, and we'll need a couple more excellent goals to win
-
Gonna vomit if those cheating fuckers Chelsea snatch that last CL place from us. Wish our owners were more ruthless at times. Should be suing the PL for loss if commercial income.
-
Looking only a matter of time before Chelsea take the lead. Forest apart, likely not the best set of result this weekend. Probably need at least 5 wins to secure top 5.

Other than Onana's clangers, are Man U not fairly solid defensively these days? I'm going for a scrappy 1-1. -
Via Skyscapercity poser Ken O'Heed. Some extension works and landscaping to our training ground. Suggests no plans to build a new world class training facility any time soon. https://idoxpublicaccess.northtyneside.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=SUCQKKBHH3I00

I don't demand much, but a victory as comfortable as Leicester except with some liquid football thrown in, a thunderbastard goal from Schar, and a thoroughly enjoyable late Sunday afternoon please. -
Don't they have an entirely separate Europe squad, what with having about 50 senior plays on the payroll? Don't think playing in Europe will make any difference to our domestic clash.

Exactly. If Villa progress and/or re-qualify for next season, their budget could start extending well beyond ours and we'll struggle to compete with them.
-
Just need a couple more PSG goals and a couple of Villa muscle strains to dent that far superior squad depth.
-
Want Villa to get spanked tonight. Will not be happy if our cup win isn't the story of the season
-
Madrid are an awful club, so suppose I can be pleased with this.
-
Don't think I've ever been more relaxed during a game Some of our sloppiness would have been punished by better teams though. I'd take Isak off now. No need to risk him.

Our squad depth man Botman, Lascelles, Gordon, Hall and Willock missing doesn't compare to last year, but it still pretty bad. -
Chelsea will earn a minimum of £30m from the Club World Cup nonsense, so doubt a UEFA fine will hurt them much. First the hotel 'sales' (of which they scandalously keep the income), then the women's team at a ridiculous price (rescued them domestically at least), and now the Club World Cup - Chelsea have been dubiously bailed out every fucking time. It stinks.

I think Salah has an absurd 9 penalty goals in the PL this season as well. In open play goals, Isak could and should beat Salah. -
Official - The Liverpool captain is a piece of shit https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/04/06/virgil-van-dijk-referee-decisions-preferential-treatment/ The more racist or the more violent a player, the more Liverpool fans will get behind him.

Weren't we equally just on the end of a new signings bounce?
