  1. I have a habit of doing that. It's a genuine talent of mine. Many thanks.

You've been on a bit of self congratulation day today

Deservedly in my opinion. One of the best posters on here.

Oh yeah, but you don't usually praise yourself, unless you're Pardew of course

I was just kidding. f*** Kaka

Oh snap ... that's messed up. Had been walking on air. Thought I had genuinely made it  :(

  2. Well, aye. No matter how much you think Sammy is s***, he can't have been much worse than Gouffran or Gutierrez have been on the wing for a good three-quarters of their respective NUFC careers.

I dont get the Gouffran hate on here. I dont mind him there. Its the fact Sissoko is on the other wing that s***s me off.

Gouffran does a decent enough job as a wide forward in a 4-3-3. Problem is, Pards likes to shoe-horn him in as traditional 4-4-2 outside midfielder, which he's not.

He's best as a part of a CF pair in a 4-4-2, IMO. But more than that, he's best off the bench, assuming we had the right personnel to push him there.

Amen brother!!! It's all that tracing back, and not playing high enough up the field that made him look bad.

That guy scores goals and does clever things when playing as a wide forward. He ultimately got burned out once we started playing 4-4-2, and he was turned into a supplemental left back.

Still love the Gouff. He's a classy footballer. Ideally he should be roaming from that wide forward role, and getting into clever positions. He shouldn't be trying to beat people as a winger at all.

In summary Pardew stinks. But we all knew that.

  3. Anyway, regarding Man City, I'm not sold on Pellegrini. Think his teams looked a bit vulnerable defensively myself, and they had scoring droughts sometimes, against some really average teams too. If he sticks with that 4-4-2 he likes, I'm just not sure it will work.

They seem to be sticking with largely the same team too, while Chelsea, Arsenal and Man U are making much more significant moves. Arsenal and Chelsea won't fall away like they did last year, and Man United will be back making noise. Liverpool, well, think they'll look quite similar to how they did last season in all honesty.

Just a feeling I have on this season. Sounds crazy now perhaps, but I guess we'll see soon enough.

  4. Honestly man, unbearable.

This is what they said when I told them of Liverpool challenging for the title last season. You could have all been very rich men.

We'll discuss this again next summer, with your tail between your legs.

  5. Kaka man, I can't deal with it when you talk to me about football.

Oh go on, just admit it. You saw that team and thought "My God where's the tackle?!"

You must purge yourself of the affliction.

Okay I hold my hands up, sometimes when I read your posts I do sometimes think "My God where's the tackle?!"

You are extremely cheeky. My football knowledge is very highly regarded on here, and you should embrace that also.

  6. Here's my bold prediction ... Man City to fall out of the top four.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United to remain. Probably in that order too.

  7. Lee Ryder ‏@lee_ryder  2m

Hatem Ben Arfa played in #nufc 's 4-4 draw with Queen of the South today. Obertan also appeared.

    :anguish:

Imagine a world where Ben Arfa is considered on par with Obertan. This is the realm Pardew's mind currently inhabits. He is a seriously disturbed human.

  8. Kaka man, I can't deal with it when you talk to me about football.

  9. I'm still not sure where he fits in tbh.

    As the #10.

                Benzema

    CRonaldo James  Bale

Hmmm...that just doesn't sit right with me. I can't quite put my finger on it.

    You've clearly been Pardewed son.

Man! Thought it looked alright from the pics in the store, but then I noticed that too. That is an abomination from Puma.

Had to have that bit blend into some black on the sleeve. What a bunch of absolute amateurs, for goodness sake.

That thing better be free, because that bit ruins the whole thing completely. How can that be possible?! Bleurgh.

I was thinking that but Puma have made some half decent striped kits, yet they seem to f*** around with us. Whether it's something the club insist on, a bit different or just something they do to us out of choice. It's just so s***.

That isn't even about the kit though. It's just a disgusting oversight regarding how that black patch on the front of the shirt fits in with the sleeve. Absolutely crazy. looks like something someone's made themselves at home. I actually can't believe that.

  12. Liverpool will be very good again. No need to convince me. I can see it already. Remember when I predicted you would be amazing last season? Yeah, just making sure no one forgot about that. Can't be having that at all. I mean why should my genius go unrecognized even for one moment? Anyway, I digress, Liverpool will be really good again, and it's really sickening.

  13. I know it's only HT and he has scored but I'm not convinced by Riviere's performance. A lot of his touches seems to be heavy, and he looks to be going backwards more often than direct at goal. For the first goal I can't help but think that a more confident forward would have taken a turn and took the shot himself instead of passing it back for De Jong.

Anita, Aaron's, and Colback have been fairly good in the first half though.

    Riviere is class. Do one.
