Would have been so depressing if we had looked poor today and lost the game off the back of all the Isak stuff. Instead the team came out with great energy and togetherness and outplayed Villa at home for the most part, and easily could have come away with all three points. Massively encouraged by that and actually quite proud of the team. Today could have been so much worse, and I was worried beforehand it would be.

Very admirable performance upfront as he brought a ton of energy and enthusiasm, and set the tone with putting Villa under a lot of pressure and disrupting their build up play. We've seen him up top enough now to know that he isn't great receiving the ball in tight areas, or showing the sort of composure you'd want in front of goal, so difficult to be too upset about those aspects. Lets get some strikers in and cause this league some real problems.

Just needs to make quicker decisions and make the simple straight forward play when it's on. Tends to dwell on the ball too long due to being indecisive and then ends up fluffing the pass once he makes it as he's invited more pressure in taking too long. Not the best game, but it happens. Could have easily still smashed in the winner if not for that great block from Cash.

Brought so much more balance to the side. A legit threat down the right that could take on players. Should have had a goal and an assist today with a bit more fortune. Think he's going to go from strength to strength and cause a lot of problems to the opposition. Solid debut.

Thought Burn and Schar looked as fantastic as ever. Can't get over how good these two are consistently now. Just amazing.

Very solid performance. Just need some forwards in. Better day for Barnes and Bruno and we likely still get 3 points even with no forwards. Thought Barnes and Bruno were shocking.

Barnes is so poor in general play. Dithers for too long and then makes a poor pass.

Great play from Elanga. That was a fantastic ball through to Gordon.

You can really see how much better we could be out of possession with a centre forward that presses really well at the level Gordon has. Wissa and Ramos both press really well, and so that's actually something we could see improve with Isak being replaced.

Just doesn't have it in him. He's just doing a job up there really. His touch and control isn't consistently sharp enough to keep the ball in tighter areas. His work rate and energy has been great though, not really his fault he's having to play there.

Team looks good man. Once we get some strikers in things will really be looking up.

Ramos is very good at dropping into spaces and linking play to help the team advance up the pitch, before then arriving in the box and getting on the end of chances. Wissa is a more dynamic forward that stretches defences in behind and runs the channels and can carry the ball and run at defenders. If we ever did go with two upfront they would complement each other really well.

Liverpool looked really dodgy. Very encouraged by that. The Bournemouth subs let them down really. Just weren't able to get into the game. Thought Liverpool were quite fortunate.

Bournemouth still look good. As energetic and stubborn as ever. They deserve something here. Hope they manage it.

Yeah, we followed this guy for a while and came close to signing him. I remember watching a clip of a reporter in Portugal discussing a bid that we apparently submitted at the time.

God, I'd be so incredibly happy if this involves Isak going over there man.

Outside of Tonali I really like Miley in that deeper midfield role and think we should keep him and play him there as a rotation option. Really not keen on seeing Bruno in that deeper role this season.

Then if it's too expensive they ought to buy someone else.

Forest should not be accepting a buy back clause from Man City.
