Party poopers! Stop wallowing in self pity already. Give it 5 mins at least. Best's first start is at home. Think he'll be flying.
-
Ranger should deffo start today. No wonder he acts out a bit when he never gets a start. Best and Loven - for gods sake.
Acts out? Please enlighten us.

Tonight is the night the legend of Leon Best begins ...
-
We better keep a clean sheet today as I can't see us getting more than 1 goal.
We'll score loads!
-
We're gonna lose Ranger.
We're not gonna lose Ranger. It's better they iron out all his rough edges now, and don't give him too much too early. He's been veyr good as an impact player off the bench and should continue to fill that role, until he picks things up in training etc.
So finally we get to see Leon Best play from the outset. Happy for the guy, and I'm sure he'll do well. Call it a hunch.

I refuse to get too excited about that one. I know Ashley has something in his pocket to give us at least 3 disappointments after a good news.
-
Hatem Ben Arfa - £5 million
James Milner - £27 million
Fantastic deal. As much as it pains me to say it hats off to Ashley, Llambias, Carr, Hughton, Pardew...basically everyone involved in this transfer from day one.
Farcical

Gradel is not good enough.
In what way?
In terms of quality. We may aswell play Lua Lua ffs.
Wow. Thought he was a bit better than that! Haven't seen much of him myself. Does sound like Pardew wants some more high tempo players who are very fast, athletic and direct, so I guess he must be quite pacy.

This Twitter thing is out of hand. People have way too much to say for themselves.

This world just has no justice.
It's terrible how these women keep on taking advantage of these men because of their wealth isn't it. Feel bad for the fella.

But would you want Bentley, and Keane and Gio and a bit of cash, if it meant losing Carroll?
Not saying it's happening, just wondering.
Clear off perv!

Pardew declared: "I would like more dynamic speed in the team and that wouldn't be David Beckham. He wouldn't be somebody on our list.
"People are suggesting we are in the market for him because I said I wanted an offensive player.
"We have targets elsewhere with more chance of fruition.
"There's a need for some athletic, speedy players, especially in wide areas to give us something different."
Two players who will be on the agenda today are Tottenham's Robbie Keane and David Bentley.
They do not fit in with Ashley's bid to cut the wage bill and invest in young talent.
But Pardew insisted: "Occasionally there does come a time, especially in the first year after promotion, when you need a guiding hand and that might come from outside of that policy.
"I always think the January transfer window is difficult.
"There have been some really bad buys in this window, particularly in the foreign market.
"There's talent below the Premier League, but there seems to be a general attitude of 'oh, they're not good enough'.
"Charlie Adam of Blackpool is a great example of proving that completely wrong."
Seems more likely we'll target the likes of Max Gradel, Jason Puncheon and Taarabt from the championship.
Don't think any of Keane, Bentley or Beckham would be described as dynamic, athletic or speedy!
-
Hopefully loan to buy. Then Keane would look a better signing imo.
Keane, Carroll, Vela, Ranger
Emergency - Ameobi
the first two have the ability to keep us going (over the next couple of seasons in Keane's case) and the other two are capable of stepping in when needed/getting minutes.
Wenger wouldn't loan us Vela to backup Keane. We are not getting Keane. Keane sucks.

Really good subs.
-
Taylor, Oscar worthy.
-
Nolan is ponderous.
-
LEON BEST IN DA HOUSE!!!
-
Taylor come on!!! That's just not good enough.
-
Nolan was pants just then in the box.
-
Shola's turned rubbish again.
-
Enrique continues to faff about at the back.

Think he'll be solid. He is good enough to at least do what Shola does in general. As far as being a goal threat? Well, we'll find out. He hasn't really played much at all so let's hope he surprises us.
