  1. Wright-Phillips is significantly older and produces no consistent quality ever! Even when he is on form. Wright-Philips would be a terrible, terrible move. kingdawson ahs the privelege of watching the likes of Modric, Bale, Van der Vaart, Kranjcar, Huddlestone and even Lennon every week. Sure Bentley would look a lot less impressive under those circumstances. Bentley on our team would be a very worthwhile addition. He just needs more responsibility and being away from London will definitely help too. You just can't overlook his time at Blackburn.

  2. Lacina Traore is something to see. At 6 ft 8, his speed and ability on the ball is very, very surprising. Think he'll end up at a club doing better than us at the minute.

There's some decent footage of actual game action of him on you know where, and not just banging in goals.

If you're that tall and that quick, you're basically gonna be a superstar.

It's the confidence and ability on the ball to go with his height and pace that is just crazy. Just 20 years old I think. Quite a prospect.

  4. Sessegnon and Ziani typically play left, right or off the striker. Both atacking type players who would be good enough to go straight into the first team. Seen quite a bit of both in the African Nations tournaments. Ziani gave England a lot of headaches in the Algeria friendly leading up to the world cup if you recall.

Didn't we play them in the actual World Cup?

Sorry, my mistake. Yeah, was the world cup game I was thinking of.

  5. Deeply depressing stuff. Particularly awful when alone upfront as he won't run the channels, will be constantly offside and will constantly foul the oppositions centrebacks all day. I can't wait.

  6. Sessegnon is definitely predominently an attacking mid/second striker.

Yeah, probably his best position, and you could say the same about Ziani. However, have seen both play wide too, and they are threats from those positions as well. Both would be players good enough for the first team, so hope we are really looking at either of them.

  8. I was so happy Taylor was being a twit about that new contract, because the only way to guarantee him not playing games was to be forced to sell him in January. A new contract was always going to mean him being in the first team, as he would clearly be on a higher wage than Williamson. It's a tragedy really.

  9. Hughton finally figured out the players on this team and then got sacked. Now we have to go through the whole process again with Pardew, unfortunately. Hopefully by the time it clicks it isn't too late. Hopefully this slump will also mean we get some decent players in if possible.
