  1. My take is that once Allardyce is sacked at Blackburn - which is inevitable given his haphazard signing policy and awful football - Fat Sam will never work at the top level again. It'll be a great day for English football when this dinosaur is put to rest and we can see a new breed of English coaches more in the image of Roy Hodgson and Keegan. Football coaches who play a style which makes fans want to spend their Saturday afternoons at the match.

Don't expect the media to admit that us demented Newcastle fans were right all along though.

I think there is starting to be a shift towards more football friendly managers. Even Bolton have made a move to appease the fans with a manager who prefers a more attacking game.

Interesting to see Blackburn fans have the same criticisms of him as we did.

Everyone gets tired of watching dross especially when you keep getting hammered.

  2. Blame the foreigners ... check

    Blame the fans ... check

    Blame the owners ... check

Blame the lack of funds ... check

Just another crap manager who can't accept that he has no talent and cannot do the job. No more excuses fat head! If teams like Burnley can manage to play something actually resembling football what the hell is the excuse for this stupid man?! He has enough decent players there to play a far more attractive game than they currently are for sure and to get better results too. Just doesn't get it. Complete cretin.

  3. Will pretty much be a replacement for Saha who is expected to leave in the summer. Good move for Everton who have had recent success with lower league players recently. I think Moyes will get more out of him too, and I imagine he will do well there too.

    Oh well ...

He may prosper in the Premiership or we may have dodged a bullet. Time will tell.

The thing is though, he will be signed on a free and coming from league two he cannot demand huge wages, so in all it is a very inexpensive risk.

Even if he ends up as a reserve player, which I doubt will happen personally, he still would represent value for money! There is no bullet to dodge essentially!

  4. 10:30 Rodrigo Possebon has returned to Manchester United from a loan-spell at Portugese club Sporting Braga. Unfortunately for Manchester United, the highly-regarded Brazilian only made a few appearences for Braga and reportedly continually failed to turn up for training.

Newcastle United were apparently keen on landing Possebon in a possible loan deal, Chris Hughton might now renew his interest in the striker.

  5. What is absolutely tragic is the fact that we will probably win the league with this team and therefore will hardly make any changes to it if we go up.

Can anyone honestly see us winning the league, getting promoted replacing Nolan and Smith in the summer just like that?! No chance.

What you'll hear is how they deserve the chance to have a go in the premiership.

Really makes you wonder if it really is at all worth it. Very depressing.
