Butt took us down last year. I keep on saying it.
If he is out injured last season, at the very worst we just manage to stay up.
He is a disgusting footballer. To think he kept out Smith all of last year is laughable. Not to say Smith was excellent in the prem but he was never as bad as Butt.
Today yet again we will all have the privelege of watching him make us loo unspeakably bad. If we're lucky he won't cost us the game.

Nicky Fucking Butt!!!
Penalties and freekicks galore.
Fucking disgrace.
-
Butt is ruining everything!!!
Why do we have to put up with this.
-
Duff off injured after 9 minutes.
-
Carroll should be squaring that back rather than shooting. That was daft tbh.
-
Good defending by IlliVanilli there.
-
Ranger on the left. I knew it!
All so Butt can be shoe horned in. Frustrating!
Ranger not on the left, hes upfront
Use your eyes man!
He's playing from the left.

Butt in the team ...
I think we all know what kind of performance to expect then.
I gurantee you this is going to be a 4-3-3. Ranger will be played from the left in a front three with Carroll central and Raylor on the right.
All this just so Nicky Butt could be forced into the team. Pretty despicable.
-
Jay Simpson ...
-
4-4-2 apparently, carroll and ranger up front.
Wait ... so who is on the left now? Guthrie? Still 4-5-1?
Ranger and Carroll up front, so that's 2.
Guthrie Nolan Smith Geremi in midfield, so that's 4.
Enrique, Colo, S Taylor and R Taylor, so that's 4.
Cheers guys. Guthrie must be on the left then. Makes far more sense than how we started.
-
Shearer was right to want to ditch him. Absolute waste of time and effort. Just in the way of Guthrie's progress right now.

Danny Guthrie made an impact straight away, what a guy!
This guy is actually our best player imo. Always gets shafted once these geraitrics return to fitness though.

GOAL SCORING MACHINE. TV5.
Has taken to the league so easily. Looks like a definite upgrade on Toure. Major goalscoring threat.
-
This is just stupid. Why a 4-5-1 at home. To think I was excited when I saw the starting lineup. Didn't realise he wasn't playing Loven upfront.
I saw an article in the journal where Hughton has described Nolan as number 10
He clearly wasn't joking as he keeps playing the legless donkey off the front man.
-
Sounds like the trouble with Lovenkrands is to do with match fitness.
Lee Ryder: The Dane is starting his first game since last season and is far from fully match fit after a couple of sub appearances.
He's been struggling to get to grips with the pace of the game from the start and in making several bursts forward has not been able to get back as quickly as he should be.
Nolan, Enrique and Calderwood have all been trying to get their point across not to make the run if he can't make it back.
Why play him on the wing and expect him to track back if he's short of match fitness then? This is quite annoying. I just hope we get the 3 points.
-
Can anyone confirm how we are currently lined up? 4-4-2 or 4-5-1?
-
JAY SIMPSON 2 GOALS ALREADY!!!!!
Knew we should have signed him. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
-
Can't believe Hughton's dropped Butt! God bless the man.
-
Kudos to Moyes for sure. I was really dissapointed in him when it looked like he was goign to turn down all that money for Lescott. However, he did exactly the right thing by fleecing them and then using the funds to further enhance what is now looking like a very deep squad of players.
Essentially turned Lescott into Bilyaletdinov, Distin, Heitinga and Neil. Two of which are seasoned prem defenders so you know exactly what to expect. excellent maneouvering.
-
The good thing about Harewood is that he is a pretty big guy who can hold the ball up quite well, but he also has a good turn of pace also, which is desperately needed.
-
James Milner is still very average. He by no means stands out in any technical area of the game. His greatest attributes are effort and workrate. He's useful in a team with other players with greater technical ability, but if he's a player you have to rely on for actual quality then your screwed. Occasionally he will produce something but much more often than not he really doesn't. Nice lad though.
Greedy b****** though.
Nice lad turned greedy barsteward then.
