1-0 Rodilega.
Looks like he's injured now. Hope not, he's looked a bit special. Both sides look like they did last season; Wigan far better than I expected. Fair play to Martinez.
Martinez is going to be awesome for Wigan. Zoggy is really going to develop under him too.

1-0 Rodilega.
Goodness me.
Was it the spelling, or the whole five minutes later thing?
Pretty much a combination of both.

Fantastic goal from Rodailega(?).
It's Rodallega.

Moyes really must be one dense individual. Onuoha is a comfortably better defender than Taylor. You got to force him to be included in the deal surely.
Moyes buying into the Taylor media hype as our best defender and future John Terry replacement yada yada yada bollocks.
Terrible move.

What an almighty hoofing kick in the balls all of this crap is. I mean just pile it on you heartless cretins JUST PILE IT ON WHY DON'T YOU!!!

JK is coming back.
Llambias and Ashley will say that they felt compelled to honour the promise of the two year contract offered to him before he fell ill.
JK's posturing about not coming back due to his health were simply his efforts to secure a two year deal rather than a temporary gig.
JK's mouthing off yet again about being big pals with Wenger and Fergie were his way of letting us know that he would be bringing in players on loan from Arsenal and Man U.
Happy days ...

On a more serious note this is a positive move I think.
Attack minded right back who actually has some pace and athleticism.

I said Jay Simpson!!!
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ...

Taylor out and Onuoha in on loan.
Bingo!
As if City would let him go anywhere.
Toure, Lescott, Dunne, Kompany, Richards ...
If they don't give us Onuoha then Taylor doesn't go to Everton and Lescott stays put.
Simples. I'm a genius tbh.

Bet he plays on the right side for the Argies. Play him on the righ side please!!!

If Tommy Smith = Newcastle fan and Shearer = "signing players who care about the club"
Then Newcastle signing Tommy Smith = Shearer returning as Newcastle manager.
Rejoice!

England are unspeakably bad. Completely incapable of playing the ball from back to front through midfield (it's like watching Newcastle!!!). Holland on the other hand play those lovely little balls through centre midfield and it opens everything else up.
England are strictly hoof hoof hoof and when they're not doing that they are giving it away at the back with some shocking attempts to play it out from there. Pretty shocking stuff.
We need Jay Simpson playing tbh
Jay Simpson could definitely do a job for us in the Championship make no mistake!

David O'Leary is probably my least favourite manager. Just a completely smug, slimey sort of individual. I really couldn't see any sort of good coming from appointing him. If Ashley stays I really hope he opts for Curbs.

Lord have mercy on us all. I don't even understand what language is being spoken in this thread anymore.

From what David Craig has said the next thing I am expecting is the sale of more players. If Mike is insisting on getting £100 million then this is only going to be possible if the wage bill is reduced quite significantly. This has likely been the battle all summer. Getting rid of expensive players who are not attracting too much interest. The season is about to kick off though and clubs will be getting desperate now so it will be interesting to see what happens this week.
-
No deadlines and no changes in the last few weeks regarding the sale of the club. Put up £100 million and the club is yours. MA has gone to a lot of help to assist interested parties to tie up a deal, but to no avail. Two main parties interested, neither of who have been mentioned in the media.
David Craig on SSN.

And when pressed on Moat’s bid to take the club on, a representative of the Ashley camp said: "Barry Moat is not in the driving seat. There are still others out there but nothing is likely to be resolved before Saturday’s game with Reading."
Thomo's still in there.

If Ashley stays does he not realise that far fewer people will go to the games as fans in general will be demoralised, and the players will be hugely demoralised also. The atmosphere around the club will be so negative and it will be extremely difficult to push for promotion under these circumstances. The chances are that in a year he will still be stuck in the championship with a club that is of even lesser value.
I'm hoping the threat to stay is just some sort of scare tactic to squeeze some more money out of someone, because if he is really contemplating it at this point he is doomed.

Thanks for sharing Ash
Always liked the look of him myself and was eager to hear what you thought about him. Think he would be a great option if we are forced to rely on younger and cheaper loan players coming in.
-
That's just bollocks; complete bollocks.
That's a bit harsh on Djmattis tbf. It wasn't the cleverest idea but just take it easy.
-
All we need upfront is Jay Simpson on loan from Arsenal. He would score 20 - 25 goals in the championship alongside Andy Carroll, who should get around 12 - 15 goals.
The other games today - 2009/10
