Hasn't Gouffran been absolute balls for the last few seasons?
Right, so people really need to stop getting their Gourcuffs and Gouffrans mixed up okay?
Gouffran has scored as many as Aubameyang has this season so far, as well as last.
He has not been balls.

As long as we come to a deal eventually, I don't really mind that they go in low first. Obviously it will p*ss some people off, but in this case it doesn't seem to be that far away from what they want.
I think Ashley is determined to have NUFC known to be a club that can't be messed around with on deals, which is a good thing.
However, this is an extra 250,000 Euros we're talking about though, as Bordeaux are only asking for 1 million Euros, not pounds, but Euros.
Bearing in mind the player's actual worth is around £7 million if his contract isn't running down, I'd have to say Ashley is taking things way too far on this one.
It's embarrassing ...
Gouffran's worth 7m? Nah, not having that.
Transfermrkt is usually pretty accurate for players values, and I'm going off of that.

It's funny, because no matter what Bordeaux said we would always offer about 200k less and try and meet them in the middle.
Ashley watches too much Bargain Hunt.
The guy is unbelievable. Delaying things over 250,000 euros.
He essentially wants the guy for free now, as that 750,000 euros we bis was to buy out the rest of his contract apparently.

He caused them all kinds of havoc at Old Trafford a season or two ago in the cup.
Fergie's no doubt been dreaming of him since.
-
Clearly swapping him with Santon.
DEAR GOD WHY!!!

@F8Piraux: Yann M'Vila is close to... Rubin Kazan for 11,5€M with a 4 years contract and a salary of 4€M per year. Meeting today between the two clubs.
Unfortunately, it seems this has led to them trying to get Moussa Sissoko instead.
Who prefers us and is good mates with Yo Cabs.
Amen bro, amen. Let's hope so.

Any one reckon we'd be signing MBiwa if we'd signed Remy? I reckon this is the Remy money being spent.
Interesting point, as it seems the Remy alternative (Gouffran), is so much cheaper.
Pardew did say the money spent on one would affect the other.

Just read that the 750,000 Euros is the price of the remainder of his contract with Bordeaux, which at least gives some context.
MA so adverse to paying anything for someone who will be free in the summer

Pardew said he thought Cabaye was capable of playing the whole game. Then despite him saying the player told him he was struggling at half time, sent him back out and subbed him just after he attempted an overhead kick, and after having taken Marveaux off first, and after we'd conceded the equaliser. To claim it was obvious the crowd shouldn't have expressed anger at that decision is ridiculous.
Sure, at the time I was raging as well. But it seems the situation is a bit more complicated than Pardew just wanting to take all our creative players off.
Jonas and Shola played 90 mins. For that there is no excuse.
As long has there was life in Marveaux's body, he stays on ahead of Shola. You damn well put him on the right instead of that donkey.

Ultimately the booing yesterday was a good thing.
If Pardew stays it's the slap in the face he needed tbh.
He'll at least think twice in future before those stupid subs he makes.
Do you not think it makes any difference that he thought Cabaye would be able to stay on?
Regardless of what he was thinking for the subs on Saturday, I just know that in future he will think a bit harder before making his subs, which are often silly.
That can only be a good thing. He needed a wake up call. Think the fans at the game on Saturday should be applauded.
-
Isn't he allergic to grass?
Well he seems to be coping okay with that, don't you think
My God, get over it!

My goodness ... just pay up the one million euros and stop wasting time.
Unnecessarily frugal. It's already a heck of a deal for someone who has done so well the last two seasons in France.

Just a possible issue with Adkins.
Apparently the issue at Southampton was over transfers.
Gaston Ramirez and Yoshida both had nothing to do with him.
Our policy isn't quite that ludicrous, as it seems the manager has more of a role in recruitment, but you have to wonder.
-
I would have been worried if it was anyone other than Arsenal they were linking him with.
Wenger just doesn't operate on a whim like this. Just not his style.
-
Wow ... what a disastrous weekend.
-
Can't enjoy any other game now.
Horrible ...
-
"Sylvain come off but we needed to make sure we got a tackle out on the pitch."
That sentence sums up entirely what is wrong with him as a manager and ultimately why we are where we are.
A complete and utter neanderthal statement.
From the horrific grammar to the complete lack of intelect behind it.
Honestly, just completely embarassing.

ESPN. Benteke goal was incredible.

Villa winning ... great.

The man is rusty after having been played on the wing all season.
Yet another thing to thank Pardew for.

To soften the blow you mean?
Maybe. Thought the delay till Monday was weird.
