Loved Alan Smith today. He leads by example and it definitely affects the whole team positively, especially when he plays upofront. If we could just add some more goalscoring players around him he will look an even better player. He really does a great job of allowing others to come into play.

Two games in a row now we have approached things the right way. It really is a great sign. There's no doubt Sam has given them a bit more freedom to be more positive. Lets hope Sam is adapting and mixing things up a bit more and realising he doesn't have to be quite as defensive as he was at Bolton.

Really beginning to show his class. His fitness is definitely right up there now. You can see he's got his legs under him and he is really playing well.

Rozehnal sometimes has a bad habit of sticking his leg out when people run at him rather than staying in front of them and running with them.

Very proud of the team so far. Alan Smith from now on should be played upfront . I love the way he links up and plays little passes quickly without dwelling on the ball. If everyone on the team played the ball as quickly we would be a much better team. We should keep Smith upfornt and continue to work with him to get him into dangerous scoring positions a bit more often and maybe he will even start scoring a bit more regularly. Well done on the whole
