The real mugs are those that didn’t want Wilson to come in for Gordon at half time.

Nah, the real mugs are the people that have a melt down every time things aren't going perfect every second of every game, and don't trust the manager or the team to turn things around.

I love Isak, but Wilson needs to be the starting every game unless he needs rest. Isak is awesome from the wing aswell anyways.

There's a part of me that wishes Eddie would pair them like he did Josh king and Callum Wilson at Bournemouth. However, I think the current approach keeps Wilson fresher and fitter.

If we do decide to play them together then we will need another number 9 type similar to Wilson to cover him going forward as he will start getting injured again.

Goign to be interesting to see what decision is made on this and how it affects the summer recruitment.

Wilson through the middle has been the biggest difference. Having that player making straight runs in to the centre of the box and generally taking up the attention of the 2 (poor) defenders has done them.

Yeah, it's going to be really important at times to have a more traditional striker up there, especially in instances teams tend to be more defensive.

Callum Wilson is going to be incredibly important for us still. Seems the competition has also given him added fire in his belly, and kept him fresher too, so he's going to be a terror whether starting or coming off the bench.

Not seen it so can’t get enraged but I’m so fucking sick of this shit in football. Waiting minutes to make a decision that is clearly massively unclear

We just had a key goal chalked off against us just before half time the last game.

It's worked in our favour at times too and it will again in the future.

There's still time to win this game.

The whole team is playing with a rocket up their ass. Blaming Gordon for the first half is ridiculous.

Just leave them and their stinking attitudes man.

It's the same shit they did to Joelinton, Longstaff, Murphy and Almiron at various points.

    The only correct answer.

They’d not have spent as much as they did if they thought he was a part-time, Champo-level player.

Left to some 'supporters' they'd sooner see the guy driven out of the club after a few months, just to make themselves feel better.

Never satisfied unless there is someone to denigrate and pile on. So fucking toxic man.

I had taken a bit of a step back from posting on match days for my mental health as the people who disagreed with me being so direct and insulting were really taking their toll.

I'll stop voicing my opinions again.

Maybe try posting when things are going well too, so you don't come across so badly. It is grating.

He hasn't scored or assisted since October.  His expecter goals and expected assists for the last 365 days are on the floor.  Really confusing January signing.

I noticed you weren't around much at all when we were thumping teams.

An ordinary first half and you're everywhere having a melt down about everything again.

    You're a very strange guy.

I can't understand our fan base sometimes

Think a good number actually loved it under Mike Ashley, as they could bitch and moan every single day of their existence about the club.

Now he's no longer here and things are going well they are struggling badly, and will grasp at any opportunity they can. It's a sickness.

He did say he'd consider a job in the championship, which I thought was nice of him.

Here's one  quote "Eddie Howe is manager of the season. Newcastle have spent £200m - that I didn't get by the way".

No, Alan. You just had one of the hottest scouts at that time raiding the French league for you and bringing the likes of peak Cabaye. None of his nonsense was challenged, or even analysed though. Surely no-one would take a chance on Pardew now?

Oh, you know what, ignore me he's old news.

God ... I can't wait for all these types to disappear for good man.

Of course he would insinuate it's all down to money spent just like Bruce did.

All these years and still stuck in the same limiting mindset, having not learnt a damned thing. Horrendous.

That Pedro was reported that watford wanted 30 odd million weren't they? Hefty fee if that's what brighton are willing to pay.

They made around £80 million off of just Cucurella and Potter last summer man

I'm getting more familiar with his game.

He's not much of a dribbler 1v1. When playing on the left he can eat up ground but when square with a defender, he looks to cut in and pass it backwards. He's not confident in his ability to beat a man 1v1. Which is why I think he played most of his minutes on the right for Everton. He can keep running in straightish lines on the outside and get a cross in.

One thing he doesn't often do. Is try some slick movement when on the turn. He got the ball once on the edge of the area with his back to goal, I would've liked to see him try and jink his way around the defender but he immediately passed the ball back to midfield. He's a bit 1-dimensional to defend against.

What a do like about his game is his quick passing and moving. He'll not beat a man 1v1 but he'll pass it, keep going and collect it back in space. He's too quick to be caught when the pass is measured well. The game is a bit open then and then he can cause some damage.

Great break down and I agree.

He's a very intelligent player actually, in the sense that he is more of a pass and move player. Plays with his head up.

He is a threat as a runner when he is played into space and he can then just turn the after burners on.

I think he's going to develop into a really good player, especially with better players coming in, and in particular with a full back that supports him and overlaps more on the left side when he plays there, like Trippier does with Almiron on the right.

This lad could be more than just a good player. He could be someone the club markets itself around and brings nee fans to us. Similar to what Shearer did.

Yup, going to be huge for attracting commercial deals, and the shirt sales are going to be silly.

Between Isak, Bruno, Joelinton and Willock, we have some great guys in that regard.
