The Mbeumo ship has sailed, but I think that's okay. Between Howe, Nickson and now Mitchell too, I'm sure they'll find someone plenty good enough. Howe is also continuing to show that he'll get excellent production from players with even just a bit of talent that I just don't think we need to be too concerned about getting players that are good enough.

If a new 4 year contract is signed, then it would be that remaining £4 million book value that is then amortised over the next 4 years, so at £1 million a year. After 2 years of the new contract have elapsed the player's book value would be £2 million.

Yes! He's really good at those, but he often gets robbed of the assist because the finish doesn't come. So many times with Gayle and Wilson in particular. Yesterday's was a beauty man.

Had some dodgy moments where he held onto the ball a bit too long, but otherwise, blown away by how well he continues to play. Seems to have really got a good sense of what his strengths and weaknesses are and so doesn't try to do too much for the most part. Gets into really good positions and looks to deliver the ball into dangerous areas early and often. Been a massive part of the turn around.

I have to say this guy has to be the most important player at the club. The joy he has playing for the team and how much he celebrates the club on and off the pitch is incredible. It's so contagious and I can't even imagine how this affects the other players, especially as he's the captain and one of the best players. The atmosphere he helps create at the moment is immense. Hoping this influences the likes of Isak going forward.
