The most Eddie Howe winger at Porto would have to be Galeno. Porto have used him more on the left, but think at Braga he also played on the right sometimes. Powerful and explosive winger. Reminds me a bit of Cunha at Wolves.

He would demand a salary in line with other first teamers to join. He would not be starting games. He would therefore not agree to join if he is not starting games. It would be a squad player role to him, whether you like it or not.

Agreed. Atletico were ready to pay him around £200,000 a week for goodness sake. A bunch of fans like to act like the guy is a big joke, just because he can look a bit awkward at times, but he really isn't.

The Gallagher rhetoric is really getting out of control when he's being compared to Longstaff. There is a world of difference between the two and it's actually a bit embarrassing.

It is a squad player role. He will not join to play that role. The salary he would demand wouldn't even allow it to make sense.

Gallagher isn't joining to be a squad player man. There's a reason the likes of Atletico, Villa and Spurs have looked at him and not Longstaff. He is a much better player than Longstaff.

Fair point, but to be honest I'm good either way. If we get a player that costs less and that comes in and does well, the current group will still be galvanized by it. Just looking forward to seeing who we do end up bringing in. You should break your longer posts up into sections, much easier to read that way.
