I've been following the news around Juve quite closely. Seems they're desperate for funds and moreso with them missing out on the Champions League. They apparently want to get quick cash for David as any money for him is pure profit as they signed him on a free. As he didn't quite fit their setup and so didn't put up the kind of numbers he has previously they can only ask for so much, the fee is consistently being reported as being somewhere around 30 million euros at the most. In contrast they are also trying to move on Openda too, but as they shelled out around 40 million Euros or so for him, that is more problematic as they are likely to take a big loss there as it went really badly for him at Juve.

Had some decent moments but not worth keeping at all. Good call.

You know you may well be right. But you'd hope he'd be actually played in that position like he had previously, as that is where he had success. We've barely played him there though, and so have no real idea of whether he might have been able to adjust and change some parts of his play to better make it work in a different league. Instead here we are going into his second season with no real idea, and essentially starting from scratch with him.

Genuinely think if we actually had a firm plan for him from the outset last season, based on the player he has been previously i.e. playing him as a support striker with a more mobile, hard working runner of a striker ahead of him (even if that was Osula once Wissa got injured), we'd be laughing right now as he would have fully adjusted by now and settled into that position and put in much better performances. Failure of the coaching staff.
