It's the kind of request you get from a player that already has some weight behind them not some 19 year old kid from Koln. His family can want whatever they like, doesn't mean they should be making such requests this early in his career. Huge red flag.

Sorry, there's no way I'm going to Brighton over Newcastle, as long as I'm presented with a decent enough view of getting opportunities to play. Every player doing well at Newcastle is being linked with the very best clubs. Isak was a Premier League record transfer, Gordon has just joined Barca and Tonali is being chased by top clubs. Hall and Tino are younger ones that are now also being chased by the best clubs. Outside of that, while at Newcastle you'll actually be at a club with better senior players around you that you can also learn from, and that is trying to compete, and not just playing with a bunch of kids. If Newcastle rate him highly enough to be in the squad this season and to get some opportunities to play on a right hand side that hardly has a locked down starter there, it's a no brainer for me personally.

It's going to be a mix of players across different brackets depending on whether they're looking for a first team player or squad player I imagine.

We're not a team of just these sorts of signings though, we're mixing them into a team that already has established players for squad depth. Rather than relying on the likes of Murphy and Willock going forward. This is not what the likes of Brighton do at all.
