He seems the sort that needs a run of games and to be relied upon as the main man, which will help settle him down as far as the snatching at chances goes. His finishing and goal record at Benfica was too good to be written off completely. He was putting away the types of chances we've seen him spurn so often at Liverpool. Don't think being in and out of the team so often helps.

We were in talks for Khusanov and Bah in January, trying to arrange deals for the summer. They are more in line with what Huijsen was last summer, and so I'm pretty sure we'll be looking to improve on the team and squad, by looking for value in the market fee wise and salary wise. It's what will be needed in order to supplement the key players we have and not sell any of them. That's the whole point of getting someone like Mitchell on board.

Interesting article. The club sounds confident of making moves this summer without needing to sell our main guys. The PSR know it alls have been adamant we would not be able to do so without selling key players, and so very much looking forward to how the summer plays out.
