Doing such a good job upfront. Eddie's system is really great for a player that works hard and makes good runs in behind. If Gordon doesn't stay there long term, it really shouldn't be difficult to find a striker with these attributes first and foremost and then even just some half decent finishing ability. Quite annoying such a mess was made of things last summer.

We had the numbers and he had a lot of better options. No idea why he's whacked it like that.

I can see why Delap has struggled for Chelsea. Same reason Isak looked lost for Liverpool. So much slow side to side horseshoe football man. Delap really shouldn't have joined them. Think he would have looked infinitely better in the Newcastle setup.
