    Didn't like the look of him in the Euros at all I must say, but a small sample size I guess. Haven't seen too much of him outside of that.

    He fits smaller clubs, but not bigger with expectations. Had a great run at Gladbach (before Nice), but then got sacked from there too after horrible start of the season. 

     

    Ah, fair enough. Maybe a good option as a first appointment then if the bigger names aren't possible initially.

     

    I really like the attacking intent of his teams and remember being amazed at what he got out of Balotelli at Nice. Could really see the likes of Saint-Maximin, Wilson and even Almiron shine in his setup.

    He's on about abuse now ... I can't believe this! On a day like this he's trying to make it about himself instead of quietly disappearing like Ashley had the sense to do.

     

    This guy is so pitiful man. They have to sack him tonight. They must. Right now in fact. For the love of God put us out of this misery!

I guarantee very soon, that will change. My boy knows my stance on NUFC/Ashley and he said does that mean we can now go to games, says it all! It reminds me when we were kids and went to school following KK returning as manager, which we got from our dads, most of us never having heard of him. 

     

     

     

     

    Going to be so great for the young kids man as football is such a great way for fathers to bond with their kids. Fantastic stuff :thup:

    Not sure he'll be looking to come in at this stage, so not even daring to dream that big, but if so that would be a very nice surprise. The fans would respond great to his personality for sure.

    Ah, that's really interesting. Remember he had a great start there not losing for ages. Also did very well with Nice. Was he really that bad in the end then?

    Think he would be a really fantastic fit. Dynamic attacking playing style and is good developing players. That's a very realistic hire for us for starters I think.
