Their reaction in June 2020 when PIF pulled out tells you everything you need to know about the two-faced wankers! Mass celebrations!
  2. Coming back from the previous match at Wolves on the coach was one of the lowest I've felt after a match - the atmosphere in the away end was like a morgue as it was on the coach (yes, even with me on it ). Everyone was resigned to relegation and then BANG! The difference in emotions in just five days was simply unbelievable! Amanda deserves humongous respect for sticking around and trying to capture us for four years whilst many journos and that wanker Ashley labelled her as a waste of space and that she was just doing it for attention! Also, thanks to Rafa for bringing her to the table! A magical year and it's going to get a hell of a lot better! WE ARE BACK!
  3. Superb post! Anybody who regularly watched us during 19-20 and 20-21 knows that we were very lucky not to go down! 18-19, Dubs kept us in matches numerous times and I've just looked at who was our top scorer - Shelvey with 6 - we scored 38 league goals! 19-20, an outrageous goal scoring run from WIllock literally saved the wanker's bacon! Here's hoping he gets all sorts of grief from the Baggies tomorrow!

First few pages! Raker Midfield Oct 6, 2021 #7,083 Can’t cope with those fuckers doing anything but getting beat every week. Hope it goes on for too long Bruce gets them relegated and the Saudis take over another club Dilligaf60 Guest Oct 6, 2021 #7,084 Who benefits the most from this latest “revelation”? The media Who is currently pushing it to the max in the knowledge that a certain fan base will swallow it hook line and sinker because it’s what they want to hear? The media. The issue that has to be proven is separation. And that’s assuming the Saudis are still interested even after they themselves said they aren’t. This is great, allowing themselves to be whipped into a frenzy again f**king mugs. Striker Oct 6, 2021 #7,126 Rokerparkpies said: Serious question...can we protest against this takeover if/when it happens?? woodlebert Yes I would think so if you would like to. I think there are new laws about protesting being brought in by the home office which clamp down on some protests but I don’t know the ins and outs

  6. Lunatic https://theathletic.com/3619546/2022/09/27/football-sleazebuster-ferguson-leeds/ Bean was invited to work for Cellino as a consultant after the Italian took control at Elland Road in 2014 and, as he points out, there are good reasons the relevant chapter in his forthcoming book is called The Madhouse. “It was a surreal experience. There were a lot of funny and humorous times and he could be a very charming and charismatic bloke. But he also had another side. It was just a madhouse.” You want to know how mad? Cellino had such a complex against the number 17 that he had the seats at his former club, Cagliari, taken out and replaced with 16B. At Leeds, the owner also wanted to get rid of anything purple because he considered it bad luck. “They used to have various pennants in the boardroom, from the days when Leeds were playing in Europe,” says Bean. “We had to take them down if any of these pennants, from clubs all over Europe, showed any purple. “Plus, I’ll never forget the night I got a phone call from Cellino because he had found out the goalkeeper, Paddy Kenny, was born on May 17. He was ranting down the phone that 17 was unlucky for him and we would have to get rid of him. I was thinking, ‘This is barmy’. But I couldn’t talk him out of it. He said he couldn’t risk having Paddy Kenny at the club.” A lot of football people have superstitions. With Cellino, however, it went to another level. “The maddest story was the time he wanted a Mini for his son,” says Bean. “I had a contact who arranged cars for the players and he managed to get a Mini that was the only one of its type in the country. We got it from a specialist in Mayfair. Everything was sorted. I let Cellino know the car was being delivered that Friday. ‘No’, he said, ‘it can’t be delivered on a Friday… Friday is a bad-luck day for delivering cars’. As I keep saying, it was a madhouse.”
  7. It was Edwards' tweet to virtually this minute I think when I knew it was getting done!
  8. Steve Bruce, West Bromwich Albion M: "It’s not in my nature to surrender and go meekly. I know I’m not everybody’s cup of tea, especially the supporters, but given time I still think I can take this club where it wants to be." (October 2022). Steve Bruce, Newcastle United M: "I know I’m not going to be everybody’s cup of tea – I can understand that – but I will be doing the best I possibly can for the club. (September 2021). Steve Bruce, Newcastle United M: "I'm not going to be everybody's cup of tea, but I will, with my experience, hope that I can keep the club just ticking along." (September 2021). Steve Bruce, Newcastle United M: "I’m never going to be everybody’s cup of tea and I accept that, unfortunately. But that’s the way it is.” (May 2021). Steve Bruce, Newcastle United M: "I'm not everybody's cup of tea. Judge me over time." (July 2019).
  9. It would be a lovely way to celebrate the one year anniversary of our new owners tomorrow if this inept, useless, fraudulent piece of monkey crap was binned on the same day!

  13. NUFC match so wasn’t there but was out with two of their players yesterday - one of them a huge miss as he’s injured - Olly Martin - the other I sponsor - Jack Donaghy - both said they were impressed with Grantham! Aye, it’s a cracking set up now - the media tower is great to watch a match! Our Sunday team play on the pitch next to the main pitch!
