I have Khedira, and no subs to exchange him with. Had Sneijder yesterday and that forced me to a stupid last minute transfer that went all wrong. Both of them injured in the warm up.

Well done. Almost correct. You didn't have all info though. When I said, all in on Holland, I didn't say if I had any Brazilians or not. My position is slightly worse then you describe. I can not take Clasie out, because the game does not allow six defenders and I have a few points less after taking out my other players. I think I was just too many points behind before this round to win it, but I hope to at least secure a top 3 place.

I got 88 points yesterday. Had to gamble and went all in Holland. Have Cillessen, Vlaar, De Vrij (captain), Blind, Wijnaldum, Clasie and Robben. Couldn't afford van Persie. Earlier in the tornament I've been heavy on Argentina and Germany. For tonights game I kicked out every player from one of them and again gambled on the other. We'll see how it turns out.

Just Müller, and some decisions to make regarding a couple of Algerians I may throw on.. I have Benzema, Cabaye for France and Müller, Kroos for Germany. Hope I can get some extra points there to close the gap.

I just have a bad feeling about this round. Think my selection has a bit of disadvantage from the fact that the games in each group are playing at the same time.

I never post anything, 153 posts since 2006. Most of them a happy scream in a match thread when we score. But I read these forums every day, and I guess some of the others you don't recognise are just like that.

Same as I had in my team. Benzema together with Higuain and Lukaku. Exchanged the last two for Djabou and Slimani, and hit the jackpot.

You still get the double points, it's in your total. Think they just made a visiual change that you now see the players real score, but in blue color to let you know it's your captain and that you get double points for him.

I'm in. Just sent the money. Now to complete the damn team.

A battle for 7th, like you started two years ago, would be a bit more realistic and interesting, but I approve of your optimism.

They've changed it from a crest to a logo.

Players are not allowed to bet on any games in a competition they have participated in during the season. Basicly if you are loaned out to a championship club, you can not bet on any champioship game that season, even after the loan run out. A player that went out in the 3rd round of the FA Cup is not allowed to bet on games in later stages of the cup.

Swansea did really well after their league cup victory.
