We haven’t been great tbh. Hopefully that goal is a much needed kick up the arse. We’ve fallen in to their low tempo and are making bad decisions all over the place.

Way to start the weekend lads. ? Targett turned too easily, center backs asleep and poor goalkeeping.

This is exactly it. We’ve been nowhere near.

Villa are a good side. But we’ve been frustratingly poor today. Momentum is everything at this stage of the season and fingers crossed this won’t destroy it altogether. We look miles off the pace. Outwitted, outplayed and ultimately outclassed. If the Spurs game wasn’t big enough before this game it’s now HUGE.

Settled down a bit but we have a fair few players having ‘off’ days tbf. Think we’ll do them second half and get the win if we can keep it 1-0 to HT.

I think the conclusion is that we were piss poor in first half rather than Brentford being great. And now we’re on the front foot we’re a few levels above (even with a disallowed goal).

Better so far. (Hard to get much worse tbh ?). We’ll win this.

Can’t lie - I’m actually fuming about this performance. We haven’t been this wank in a long time. The pen could have gone either way and can’t be too pissed off about it when we show this little determination and fight.

Wouldn’t take a draw just yet though. They’re there for the taking - we just need to get going a bit. If we can get to HT 0-0 I think we’ll win this 2-0 in the second half.

We really need a goal sharpish like to settle the nerves - for both players and fans. Wolves are frustrating us big time and we haven’t coped well.

Looked good after the sending off tbh. Frustrating result after a good performance (bar Tripps and Pope). Feel sorry for Anderson - thrown in at the deep end and hooked early. Still can't understand Pope's decision for the red - blatant reflex to try and stop the ball with his hands after missing a header (at grass level ffs ).

Frustrating as fuck seeing people blaming Anderson. Our defense and particularly our captain are the culprits here.

For all the good we’ve had this season we’ve had some proper stonkers as well. We’re incredibly frustrating to watch at the moment and which ever way we look at it dropping 4 pts to Bournemouth is not good.

Tbh we’ve looked better since Gordon came on. Great run and pass from ASM to set up Longstaff for the chance. Let’s rev it up in the second half!
