  1. Really enjoyed that half. Best we’ve looked in a long, long time. High tempo, frenetic pressing and everyone seems really up for it. Can’t wait for next season when Eddie’s had a whole pre-season and a few more signings integrated as well.
  2. Must say I’m a tad disappointed watching this. Very energetic and aggressive first 10 mins in each half. Other than that we’ve been second or third best all over the pitch. Haven’t really been super solid either with all these chances they’re creating. Fingers crossed for a final push.
  3. As frustrating as he can be it still was his touch for Joelinton that started the move which got us the pen. But for a brief touch from a Wolves defender he probably would’ve had an assist for Bruno as well. It wasn’t his best game by any means but he still brings something to the table that no other player in our team can do. And he really needs some protection from the refs as well. He’s been getting kicked and pulled left, right and center these last few weeks and it’s frankly pathetic and I do understand his frustration. Keep him in and watch him soar as soon as we get a few more talented people players in.
  4. Shocking second half after an OK first half. Both full backs have been absolutely rubbish today.
  5. Well, we haven’t really managed the occasion particularly well tonight. Really sloppy and poor second half where we’ve fell in to the trap after a pretty good first half. 3 pts dropped and bitterly disappointed to say the least.
  6. Not looking good so far. A bit too hasty and disjointed. And 1-0 down as a result of that. Need to push up and get our asses in to gear sharpish.
  7. Sneaky feeling we’ll win this. I’m going for 3-1. Fraser, Jonjo and Big Dan on the scoresheet.
  8. Benefit of the doubt and all that. But, Eddie needs to change things up here sharpish. We’re second best today.
  9. This is probably our poorest performance in quite a while tbh. Would be nice to get Bruno and ASM on for Shelvey and Murphy early in the second half.
  10. We probably could do with Bruno now. Someone who has the ability and calmness to keep the ball
  11. A bit of a hangover from the Everton game from both team and fans so far. Keep it level until half time and unleash Bruno after the break.
  12. We’ll have these. Nervous as usual these days. Can’t wait for the game though. Will probably be a fair few goals in this. 4-2 with a Wood brace, a ASM special and a towering Dan Burn header. Here’s hoping!
  13. Absolute filth. Such an amazing player. Seems like a proper character in many ways as well. Always geeing up the other players, talking, shouting and contesting every decision. And a shithouse streak as well which I love.
  14. Great performance from him tonight. Seems a solid, dependable defender with a not too shabby left peg to go with it. Impressive!
  15. Can't wait for tonight's game. Nervous as fuck though. Find it rather hard concentrating at work tbh. Hopefully we'll smash them and Bruno G puts on a show!
  16. So just to catch up here. Mendy is possibly a serial killer in the making and Greenwood is a grade A asshole who probably should be locked up for a long time?
  17. I am as well tbh. The players brought in no doubt strengthens the team and I'm super excited to see Bruno G in action. But I can't shake the feeling that not bringing in more firepower will bite us in the arse.
  18. As I mentioned in a different thread I think this window's is probably a 6/10. The business we've done has been good, but the business we haven't done could break us unfortunately. IMO we desperately needed a top CB and a top ST on top of what we've had. Looking at the deals done individually I'd say; Trippier is a 10/10 signing. Bruno is a 10/10 signing. Burn is probably a 7-8/10 signing for where we are. Targett is probably a 7/10 signing, especially on loan. Not a position I thought was prioritized though. Wood was definitely a panic buy, we really needed anyone to lead the line. But he's a 6/10 signing at best. Not getting in a top striker or a top CB though is definitely a 0/10 which makes the window a 6/10. Mathematics at its finest. I'll say though that it feels so good caring about all this stuff again. And kudos to the new owners for trying their hardest to strengthen us. They've aimed for the top and have come up a bit short unfortunately but please, please let us stay up so we can enjoy the summer window which I think will be a blast.
  19. Well, what started out as a great morning has me feeling a bit nervous. Overall I’m happy with the business we’ve done. It’s the obvious weaknesses we haven’t addressed that make me a bit scared. We really, really needed a top class CB, we really, really needed a top class forward and probably an attacking midfielder as well. Still time left I suppose but other than that it’s hard to say that this window has been any better than a 6/10. IMO anyway.
  20. Yeah, if he waits until 10:30 it’ll be impossible. Before that though? Nah.
  21. I reckon we have a full fleet of private jets at the ready in every market we have an eye on. Should not be a problem flying them here at short notice.
  22. FFS, ASM is a hugely talented, absurdly egoistic and enigmatic player. Of course there’s a place for him at NUFC for years to come. The kind of player that makes me smile, laugh, scream and throw stuff at the telly in equal proportions. Kind of like Laurent Robert did back in the day. But with more tricks.
  23. When looking at Legends Hospitality LLC (which I guess is the company behind this) they seem to have an annual revenue of just shy of $24 million. Good luck honoring this deal if true.
