Give over, man. We've no idea how much say Pardew has in the transfers.

it was already dismantling, hence why keegan skipped out when told he couldn't have oodles more to rebuild. KK went because the club decided to become a PLC and the power would then lie with the suits in London. Hence why Ferdinand was sold ultimately. What? If you knew your toon history, that's what happened back in 96/97 when the club floated itself as a PLC. It was those who took the offer from Spurs on Ferdinand. Do I need to spell it out a bit clearer? Who exactly are you referring to here? Which 'suits in London' for a start?
-
Why would they say yes to Ireland but no to any one of Sturridge, Vela, Keane or any other number of strikers on loan instead? Perhaps because Villa agreed that we'd only pay wages when he was fit?

From the teams likely to be relegated. Ba, N'zogbia and DJ Campbell would improve us significantly
-
Bobby once said that him and Lua Lua would one day replace Shearer and Bellamy.

Blackburn, sadly, are out of it.

So many assumptions. There's no real reason for any of us to suspect Ashley or Cuntbias were prepared to fund a striker.
-
Out of curiosity, explain his shocking period as NUFC and Celtic manager then? Celtic - I can't. Didn't follow Scottish football at all at that time. NUFC - got us into the Champions League, an FA cup final and had one poor season which was badly affected by an injury to our best player. Hardly shocking.

Roger Johnson is about as much as big as one of my legs. He's not much of a bastard either. Samba on the other hand would be a great signing.
-
Daglish is very blatantly a top manager. Knew they'd turn things around the second he was announced.
-
Aye. Pav's a 'luxury' player in the VW Polo sense of the word. No thanks.

Hutton is no better than Simpson, man. Not that I rate Simpson much.
-
A fair few of those will be penalties too. Pathetic. If he'd come through the academy or whatever at Crewe, he'd still be there.

4-3 with Best. They're both mediocre imo. Shola's a better finisher where Best is generally a bit more consistent, if the couple months we've seen of him play regularly are anything to go by. Shola's hit 5 league goals this season. If that's mediocre you don't know football.

FWIW Williamson has had a better season in the PL than that cunt Taylor has managed in 7 attempts.

I feel for Pardew a little, he's working with easily the worst bunch of strikers in the league. In fact, if I was a fan of an ambitous Championship club, there's not one i'd want anywhere near my starting lineup. They're an absolute f***ing disgrace. Shola especially. He's had every chance to mould himself into a decent Premier League striker, but the same slow, gutless, clumsy piece of s*** rears his his ugly head five times for every occasion he manages to put in a decent shift. Lovenkrands i'm not even going to bother with, i'd honestly rather have Ryan Taylor up front. No footballing ability whatsever within his pathetic little frame. Spineless. That leaves 34-year-old Kuqi and 20-year-old Nile Ranger. Both a long way from being Championship players, for contrasting reasons. We're playing with 9 men. I expect nothing more than the rubbish we were served up today.
-
He's had a very decent season and has surprised a lot of us - including myself - along the way. He struggles against good players because of his inability on the ball and complete lack of strength and athleticism. Won't be too unhappy to see him in the starting Xl next season. I do think that a better RB alongside him would help him out greatly.
-
We may as well just let Liverpool have the ball and hope they score a comical OG. Only way we're getting on the scoresheet.
-
You're probably right about the Championship, but Lovenkrands scored for fun at that level, there's no guarantee any would be more of a significant goal threat than he is. Craig Mackail-Smith is in that mould but I can't imagine people being delighted with the signing. 10 league goals (excluding penalties) in by far the best side in the division. Give over. This c*** isn't worth a shirt.
-
We deserve this for playing 4-4-2 with 2 strikers who are incapable of making any sort of impact.
-
Williamson, you absolute tool.

What a shocking half of football. Christ.
