He's the opposite to Guthrie in terms of attributes, based on what i've seen. Doesn't have great technique but covers loads of ground.

They deserved about 5-0. It's been said before that they're all about the spine of their team; Lampard, Terry, Drogba and to a lesser extent, Essien. But we've seen just how true that is in recent weeks. Drogba is nowhere near form/fitness. I'd honestly fancy our chances against them if the same personnel turns up at SJP.

That's a pretty good stat since he has 15 assist last season so. 5 goals (open play more or less if you're stat is accurate) and 15 assist is pretty good for a playmaker especially when he is maybe the 3rd or 4th scorer in the team. So we can establish he's a 'pretty good' player these days? He still has that touch of class, but this isn't his type of game.

Minus penalties he has about 10 league goals for Milan - in over 2 years. He's completely finished.

Carroll at least attacked balls in the penalty area from the off, even at 18. Ranger doesn't, and when he does they end up in row z. He doesn't look like a striker and the club are to blame for this.

All people are saying is that he's better than Lovenkrands but still out of his depth at this level. It's not harsh, it's the truth. The lad was very unconvincing to say the least in The Championship. It's laughable that he's getting minutes at this level.

There's no reason we can't take something off Chelsea if they're without Terry and Lampard. Factor in Drogba's malaria and that's the entire spine of their team gone, basically.

I normally don't condone booing, but unlike Given, Duff was pretty terrible for most of his time here, even if he did demonstrate a bit of tenacity. And as I said, he jumped ship.

Xisco, Ranger or Best would never have been in position to miss them. And what good is that when he misses them and effectively just surrenders possession? All 3 would have contributed far, far more to general play, even Best. Loven doesn't belong anywhere near this level. Which is why we were the only team who wanted him on a free in the summer of 09.
