  1. He's as good on the ball as anyone in the squad, he should get forward whenever possible. He's got decent pace and stamina, so there's no reason he can't.
  2. A fair few want Ranger, Vuckic and Ferguson to be ahead of him in the pecking order. Plenty have written him off, wrongly.
  3. Yup. Like a shark is wor Colo he senses them a mile away and wants in :colo: i didn't actually realise till re-watching it last night and thought he was bloody quick to get there to celebrate with carroll so rewound it to see if i could see where he was and bloddy hell if he wasn't where jonas, nolan or tiote should've been. i like it though,if someone else had backed off a little to be able to cover if need be, the way gary speed would often do for bernard to come through. very refreshing to see such commitment and effort from our own. A johnny foreigner no less It's pretty obvious that Coloccini's been told by Hughton to get forward more. We saw it against City and Wigan, too.
  4. In fairness to him, his passing options are severely limited. That squad is fucking abysmal
  5. They've also occured with Coloccini and Enrique in the team, whats your point? If you'd bothered to read a few posts up, you'd know. There's no evidence to suggest we were at a disadvantage against Wigan because Nolan wasn't in the team. Honestly, some of you lot want some fucking fizzy cold water on your heads.
  6. Krul's made plenty of howlers, as you'd expect from a keeper his age.
  7. It was followed by a fantastic volley from Shola, 5 yards out, from which the ball ended up behind him.
  8. He's wrong on both counts, but I still think we would have done it - discounting Chris/Colin and then Shearer. Just barely. I do, too. But it would have gone right to the wire.
  9. Kinnear was the complete opposite in every way to Hughton. I wouldn't be suprised if Chris had based his entire managerial persona on basically being Kinnear's antithesis.
  10. Who said he was excellent? All of the defence (perhaps minus Simpson) were decent yesterday, no better.
  11. He kicked out and got nothing on the ball. If that doesn't tempt the ref to blow, i don't know what does. Not saying it was a penalty, but he's clumsy when players run at him, and it will cost us at some point.
  12. It's less than 2 years ago that Kinnear announced that he was prepared to sell him.
  13. They were having a right go at each other on the pitch yesterday.
  14. Could easily have given away a penalty early-on. Williamson is OK, i think folk (me included) just want to see what Sol can offer.
  15. Ronaldo

    Fraser Forster

It's his weakness, like. Hope he sorts it out soon, and i'm sure he will. Hell of a keeper.
  16. You're an embarrassment. City conceded goals for fun at the start of last season. He can't organize a defence and is incapable of dominating his box. His agility and reactions were once great, but they're firmly on the wain.
  17. Earnt his reputation? And Sol Campbell is better than Gary Cahill.
  18. Age, and that is the only reason. Hart is far, far better at dominating his box, a better distributor and a better shot-stopper.
  19. If Lovenkrands was anything approaching mediocre, he'd be nailed-on to start.
