The blueprint for a truly world class defender, but someone forgot to add the brain. Shame, but I can see why he's still playing in the premiership because he's an effective defender 99% of the time.

How about the perception among managers? Ashley'll be the one who sacked Sam Allardyce after giving him terrible support in the transfer market (postponing decisions forever), forced out club legend Kevin Keegan after not supporting him in the transfer market, hired an Irishman with unwashed hair, then made a profit in the transfer market with the club in a relegation battle, then sold everything that could walk during the next transfer window and only hired Chris Hughton when the transfer window was closed. And now you think it would be a wise idea -- f*** public perception -- to sack a manager who has done a good job considering the circumstances, so that Ashley could hire ... oh, Moronho? Who the f*** would want to work for the guy, apart from some absolute moron who spends all his time on football messageboards? Who suggested that we sack him?

Ronaldo You are just the type of person who would be the first to run when the going gets tough. No-one would want the likes of you alongside them in the trenches. If we sacked Hughton now, we would certainly be the laughing stock of the football world. People like Ronaldo can only see a minor part of the entire problem that exisited at the club. They dont know the entire story therefore their opinions should be taken with a pinch of salt. Furthermore, by sacking Hughton, what message does this send out to any interested managers, apart from SGE who is so desperate, he would probably manage Hartlepool United. We have been crying out for some sort of stability for years and just when we seem to be close to getting that, idiots like Ronaldo want to wreck it all. In the words of Captain Mainwaring...................STUPID BOY. First to run when the going gets tough? Just listen to yourself, man. Yes, I want to wreck it all. I'd like to see us appoint a manager with big league pedigree because i've had enough of the success derived from going to 24th place Sheff Wed and playing for a draw.
-
Such as the mackems, Stoke, Blackburn, Fulham, Bolton, Hull and Wolves.
-
Once every 3 games.
-
The fact you won't be making any more of these daft threads.
-
Sheff Wed away was the best game i've seen him play for us in 3 years. Simply because he was so bad, the result was secondary to the fantastic laugh I had each time he went near the ball, especially right on the final whistle.

My own personal favourite in New York is a bar called Gatsby's on Spring st. not far from Little Italy. Fella called Luke behind the bar, plays the Stones constantly and tends to pour you a shot of whiskey for every second pint of Broon Ale.
-
Ashley seems to be very shy.
-
This has to be the 8th time i've typed this but Ronaldo and Higuain look absolutely fantastic together.
-
I think Rafa's gone mad. Maxi Rodriguez instead of Babel for the love of christ.
-
It would be ridiculously disrespectful and show that we've not moved on as a club in any way. Laughing stock yet again. Show who? Laughing stock to who? Fuck public perception, big decisions are there to be made.

He'd have no option if Nolan told him to do it. And Smith, Butt and Harper stood behind clapping their hands.
-
Offer it anyway, if he turns it down......

Madrid are so much better than last year it isn't even worth talking about. Higuain and Ronaldo are cleaning house. Higuain always seems to choke in big games, flat track bully at the moment. As for Ronaldo, Real have played their best football with him out of the team. When's he's in the team all he does is shoot, 30 yards out, 20 yards out, whatever, just shoot. What an absolute load of shite.
-
Retain Hughton in a coaching capacity.
-
Hope he f***s right off. I don't see what he offers as a coach; shocking leader, shocking footballer.
-
Turns out I made a nice £95 on saturday. Put £25 of it on Madrid -1 at 5/6.

The Villareal (6-2) game best represents what Alonso is all about. Time and time again he picked the ball up in tight areas and found Ronaldo and Higuain running the channels. The amount they got in behind via Alonso passes in that game was absolutely ridiculous.
-
I thought Carroll was frigged.
-
Madrid lead, Ronaldo pen.

Never going to drop Nolan though. Of course he won't, despite him playing yesterday. Says it all. Nailed on to "score" tomorrow now, I like your style Ronaldo Yesterday, it was clearly not his goal btw.
