I don't think it was that massive, but I have changed my mind a bit having watched him quite closely this season. He played very well tonight though.

:lol: Been looking after my girlfriend for the last 24 hours, so haven't been on. He does remind me of a young Andy Cole in his intelligent running. I've posted on here before that I think he's capable of ten goals in the premiership. But in terms of touch and compsure there really isn't a comparison. Not really that much of contradiction, people were saying he WAS the next Andy Cole. There's a bit of him in there, but he's nowhere near Cole's standard. I though I had this coming for a while btw, given the amount of people I seem to have pissed off on here.

Cole didn't record that rap song till 99, 4 years after leaving us. As for KK being right, we weren't ever really that entertaining again after Cole's departure. Had Cole lined up in a team with Ginola and Gillespie on the wings, he's have easily emulated his 41 goals in 93-94.

I could easily see us beating 4 out of Bolton, Boro, Blackburn, Fulham, Reading, Sunderland.

Because nobody is disputing there were a fair few diabolical performances under Allardyce.

Taylor might just be the most one dimentional player i've ever seen here. Strikes a ball very well but that's it.

Hughes wasn't really a good RB, he was solid, but got raped more than once. Two games against Fulham away stick out.

Guthrie comes inside a hell of a lot more but I rather him in the team than Ryan Taylor anyday of the week.
