  2. Bramble was absolutely brilliant in that game, even his critics agreed.
  3. Yes, it was Harper. Made 2 great saves late on but almost gifted Nedved a goal in the early stages if memory serves.

    Jonas Gutierrez

Having another natural winger in the side might help in that we'll be able to break in more numbers. Often he's the only man in the final third for us.
  5. yes and we should've dispatched Scunthorpe comfortably as well......... If you look at the teamsheet from the Scunthorpe game you'll perhaps see the difference.
  6. Well said Simon Bird, Ashley hoop-lickers/Keegan haters take note My word.
  7. I thought that as well. But was it not actually Carroll? . . . . . No, it was Jonas.
  8. We should and will dispatch Coventry comfortably.
  9. He's a premiership keeper. He did have a few bad games when he first replaced Given last but finished last season pretty strongly. He also did very well when he had his extended run under Keegan.
  10. Time he got the credit he deserves. He's been absolutely solid as a rock since the opening game.
  11. Perhaps I'm getting a bit carried away with a lad who is a work in progress, but I don't rate either Taylor or Colo that highly, and sooner or later Kadar will overtake both. How big is the lad , it was funny when he was talking to the Ref. and iam not talking about coke can Smith at 5'10" looked huge compared to the ref.

Both Taylor and Colo will be colossal next season after spending a season in the Championship. Its like going out to Idols after a dry spell, just to wet the whistle, then heading down to the Quayside next weekend with that experience in the lower leagues. Does wonders Taylor is constantly getting better with age and Coloccini is a world cup quarter finalist who took a season to find his feet. I geniunely believe we'll keep a clean sheet when I see them in the starting lineup.
