Name another scout in the PL who has the power to override the manager's judgement.
-
Hot new prospects. Aye, right. Carr's line is to average, largely unnoticed players scratching around a poor league, Cabaye aside.
-
Be quiet. As if Terry's culpability comes close to that of Upson, David James and a totally porous, pedestrian midfield. You be quiet, Terry wasn't culpable??? He was supposed to be the leader of the defence, a criticism you often aim at Coloccini, he was more to blame than anyone for that circus. You can't point to one single game in which his CB partner and keeper made repeated individual errors.
-
Pardew gets far more respect in the national press now, what with all us expectant Geordies acting the goat.

Glad you (of all people) have acknowledged that, mate. Terry's by a country mile our best defender and captain. Ridiculous that he's not there, and for the record I said it long before a ball was kicked. http://www.animateit.net/data/media/feb2013/Thumbs_21.gif I don't want congrats. I just don't want to be accused of using hindsight.

It's not useless, given that we're a side who prioritise bargaining leverage first and suitability for the team second. A real PL club with ambition would have little need for it, mind.
-
Yes. The sooner I can forget all about him and his pal Gerrard the better.
-
That's it. That's exactly it.
-
I'm just saying, Carr's a failed lower league manager who is adept at finding French players going for less than they're worth, like an old Peugeot at an auction. Cabaye aside, he's not exactly going beyond facilitating a horrible transfer system.
-
Since when is biting and racial abuse an acceptable part of a 'football game'? Fucking do one.
-
So, you don't disagree that he definitely should start then. Because that's essentially all I've been saying.
-
Name a single thing he does that is world class. Oh so does it go from average, to slightly better than average, to world class? I'm not trutoon94 but the way Ronaldo keeps banging on about building the team around Rooney does my head in, he simply isn't "the best" at anything he does, even within the England setup. I don't think I've said that in years. He's just the best all round player we have, and the best striker.

They're certainly not great. Fucking embarrassing the reaction to us 'impressively' getting dominated by them for most of the game on Saturday.
-
Man, several people on here could've told you that Bony would've been an astute signing. Tooj was banging on about him for ages. Carr is good at finding contractually vulnerable average players who are subsequently available for low prices. It's nowt to write home about.

I don't see Italy beating Uruguay. I can see Suarez running riot again.
-
Rooney was the least of the problems on the pitch tonight, or against Italy. The problem is in central midfield. It's bright as fucking day to see. The bigger problems are psychological and related to the manager and the press, but that's another story. England play with so much fear it's horrible. Yes and yes. Easy targets and hard targets as per. The cowards come out to play.
-
The future has to be Sterling and Sturridge either side of Rooney. A midfield of Barkley, Lallana and Wilshere or Henderson behind them. No more Stevie knackersyard G. The defensive is a big issue. Johnson and especially Baines and Jagielka aren't nearly good at this level and I don't see obvious replacements
-
We don't play with 10 men if we don't pick Rooney. You're ridiculous, man.
-
Fuck off Jagielka you utter fraud.
-
Rooney is one of the problems. A problem who gets us qualified for the WC then scores one and makes one in his first 2 games.
-
Without him someone more creative could have helped us score goals. Rooney's problem is that he drops too deep in midfield, he's never been the same since Man Utd have had him working for RVP, and before him Ronaldo. Load of garbage.
