We only need one versatile forward who can play across a front 3. 3 players capable of playing in one position is sufficient. That's if we intend on playing a front 3, of course. We don't have 3 players, though. Shola can't start games and is often not in a position to be on the bench, too.

The West Brom game was a one-off partially due to Hodgson's dreadful attempt to compress the play in that game. Everton played a similar line against us this season, and were punished by it.

I do love Jonas and feel a tad guilty every time I criticise his play. Lovely Jonas. A perfect professional if ever I've seen one.
