Cabaye isn't exactly an ideal fit for Tiote either, but we bought him. Our policy seems to be to buy good players and let Pards do what he wants with them. He probably could be. Agree with the rest of it, though. The more I see of them the more I think it just doesn't work and won't under most circumstances. The more you see it, the more Cabaye's being moulded into a ball-chaser snapping at the opposition's heels all the time. Which is clearly a tactical thing imo. They're two good players, there's no reason why they can't work together better. They're an unorthodox box-to-box at the moment, which isn't right. Obviously, they're not helped by the ball being floated over their head all game. We don't need both of them doing that same job: interchanging attack/defense, hassling opposition. Tiote can do it on his own. It was scandalous how many times the ball fell to Tiote outside of the box against the Mackems. It should've been Cabaye cos the former can't shoot for s***. I'd like to see us sign an out-and-out defensive midfielder with Tiote in the terrier/box-to-box role and Cabaye as the attacker. I can see why Pardew is trying to get more out of Cheick, because he's too good on the ball to be restricted to the anchor man role - but he's doing it at the expense of Cabaye's attacking prowess at the moment, and the balance isn't there. The whole team's unbalanced at the moment, tbh. It's the root of our problems imo. Tiote's not a box-to-box player in a million years.

Cabaye, Jonas, Krul. Vuckic's young thing too.

Rent-a-quote. I was extremely upset when we threw the 2-0 lead away against Wolves. The players looked disinterested and the manager wasn't doing anything about it, it was horrible viewing. Doesn't mean I'm going to start supporting Guimares or something. I agree.

City didn't start throwing the kitchen sink till they were 1-0 down. Utd would have started doing that on 60 minutes if not sooner.

We've been doing it since August.

They've got some nerve talking about Pardew looking like a paedophile; O'Neil is basically the blueprint.
-
Must admit, they've done better away from home than I thought.

 Ok, this one I'm not going to let go. Swansea have won 6, drawn 6 and lost 2 at home. We've won 7, drawn 5 and lost 2.

Savic strikes again.

If that's your 'popular' opinion, you've got problems.

Swansea are bloody horrible to watch.

Colo's dad uses illegal streams.

I was just going to mention that. 4th time I'd been at Wembley, we'd not scored a single goal and it looked like we never would. Great momment. Last time I hugged my dad.

Feyenoord is still the best for me.

Mike Dean got the Luiz incident wrong and didn't do a great job last weekend either, but I for one think he's still the best ref the league has to offer.

I vividly remember Pardew describing Ranger as someone who's often on the verge of being late.

Yes, Chelsea need some younger blood if they're going to get back to challenging the title but this is a ludicrous statement. Well said. Getting rid of by far your best LB and striker isn't always the best way to go.
-
Quite like the look of that. But the priority in the final third has to be getting the best out of our best player there - Ba.

Their season is dead now.
