Carroll was sold before he came man, or rather the decision to sell was made well in advance. We also made a profit on transfers under Hughton by the way. No we didn't. We spent about £6m in both transfer windows he was in charge for.
-
We've made a profit with Pardew as manager, man. A significant one.
-
We won promotion and reached mid-table under the cowardice of Hughton. Honestly, its as if you cannot have anyone doing better than Pardew or even getting close so you have to degenirate their achievements. Mind, didn't you once said Krul is going to be better than Schemichel so its no suprise to read that to you Pardew is the second coming of Mourinho or something By the way, your man Pardew, that player he bought Obertan, in my humble, I'd rather see Alan Smith on the right than that f***ing ugly f***er. Mind, I remember when we were beating West Brom at home in the final game of last season, top 10 secured, and on comes Smith... Only a coward would play him right! Nice try.

What investment has Pardew receieved comparable to what Hughton got in Jan '10? Obviously he hasn't benefited from Cisse yet.
-
We're joint 5th with Pardew's much maligned team selections, that's the difference.

To be fair to Warnock (or Hughes if he continues playing him there), with the squad they have, Barton's probably still the best choice to play next to Faurlin (before his injury). Buzaacky, SWP and even Derry would do a better job in the centre of the park. Barton's a f***ing useless CM. Derry honestly wouldn't be knocked around like a fairy on top of a Christmas tree like Barton was in CM. FYP. Derry is at Alan Smith levels of shitness. He's crap, but better in CM than Barton. Sounds like you're going off one game.

During one of his weaker seasons - 2005/06 - he managed more assists than any other player in the league. Criminally underrated by some. And as much I like RVN, he's less than half the footballer Drogba was at his peak, and he never got near Drogba's highest tally of 29 league goals.

We looked f***ing pretty good at home to Villa, the mackems, away to Arsenal etc. And if you want to raise the Stoke at home card or Blackpool at home, WBA away etc. Pardew has had similar poor 'unexpected' results. You keep saying Pardew is the better manager and deserves huge credit and fair enough that may be, but I think being 6th in the league is less of an achievement than winning promotion and at the time of his sacking, getting to mid-table, (the same position Pardew actually took us to at the end of last season) given the circumstances. That and the fact that Pardew has actually seen some investment his way. Hughton had to sign championship players. I actually do believe we were a better footballing side under Hughton and if he were manager of these players we'd be acheiving the same kind of results and perhaps even better results. That's all down to speculation and theory though. Don't kid yourself abough the merits, strengths and results of Hughton though, not when you practically salivate over Pardew who has achieved f*** all yet. Aye. Hughton who started Alan Smith over Tiote in an important home game against Blackpool because he'd only been at the club for a week or so. The man's a coward.

He's certainly not a central midfielder, as QPR have found out.
-
Tbf to Drogba, as soon as he cut out the constant diving, he became one of the best players in recent PL history. I honestly believe the 2006-2010 Drogba is the best striker the PL has ever seen - alongside Shearer at Blackburn. Absolutely superb.
-
He certainly is, but it's always fun to encourage a follow-up.

It's been 11 years since a German team won the Champions League and only Bayern have managed to make the final (once) since 2002. The Bundesliga is rated fairly. As for defences, I think the defending in this country is pretty good. Miles better than what I see in Spain, anyway.

What a ludicrous post. You'd think we looked like a genuinely good side when Hughton was rightly sacked off.
-
Yep. And this thread's an embarrassment.

Most of 'em deserve it, though.

I'm not sure where Tiote would go. Can't see him leaving unless he demands it.
-
In 03-04 it certainly was.

Nolan is a very limited footballer, a poor athlete on a good day, and way past his best. A lot of us on here asserted that while his goals were valuable, we would function far better as a team if he was replaced by a midfielder with athleticism. Further to that, a couple of us expressed the opinion early last year that Pards didn't rate him, and he'd be out the door if he wasn't happy to be a substitute. For clarification, Nolan had 2 years left on his contract when he left NUFC. Basically, there's not a hint of correlation there with Colo's situation. Both are captains, that's about it.

Over the years of reading your posts, I have come to understand your arrogance is probably borne from your inability to read properly. If you took the time to read my post, you would realise that I was comparing Nolan's contracgt situation with Colo, not a comparison of players. Cut the crap. You are only showing yourself up, as usual Oh, really? Aye, right. Not a (ludicrous) comparison of players. Certainly looks like one of us needs to learn to read and write.
