Demba is boss at the moment so put him upfront on his own. Give me strength.
-
It wouldn't.
-
Well, this is the same man who took Ben Arfa off for Shola Ameobi at half time for no apparent reason. When did that happen?
-
Stick HBA behind him for a sustained period and you wouldn't need players to graft to feed him. We'd have someone with the ability to set him up...like the chances at City & Man Utd, like the goal tonight... We have no goals from the defence and no goals from the midfield, and you want a player with less than 20 league goals in his career partnering Ba? We need a new striker to partner him, it's as simple as that.
-
Feed off what work? He's not the type of player who should be grafting to bring others into the game, that should be left to someone else.
-
That's a bit like saying Colo's based his game around hoofs up the pitch. They can't help what they're being told to do.
-
And when did I say that? We need someone next to him who can score goals and create space.
-
We need a new striker and we all know it. As for chances, he isn't Ba in that he can't spin straw into gold. The wingers did him (nor Demba) no favours.
-
if it had been perch so often burnt and looking poor i doubt you'd find those excuses. And why do you doubt that?
-
It is working, Ba is scoring for fun. As I said, we ideally need a new striker - one that can score goals whilst making space for Ba higher up the park.
-
He's scoring them HIMSELF YOU IDIOT. I'm an idiot for wanting to stick with something that works?
-
Only a fool would put that down to Best or Ameobi being up there with him. Ba is top-class and would score goals on his own imo, stick HBA off him and I don't think he'd score fewer, and Best's hardly setting the goal charts alight this season. I'm putting it down to him playing better with a partner, as 99% of goalscorers do. He's scoring loads of goals and we need a better partner for him who can contribute some of his own - that isn't and never will be Ben Arfa. End of story.
-
He was poor, but so were the conditions in general for the defence. Stupid high line and no protection whatsoever from Jonas or the two in the middle. Haris gets a pass because that wasn't really his job.
-
Only on N-O could somebody find reason to mess with a system up top that includes the league's 3rd top goalscorer.
-
Ba has 13 goals - pretty much all of them coming with another striker on the pitch - and you want to disrupt that for what purpose? We need a new striker to partner him, not to f*** about with stupid systems. 2 penalties, 1 free-kick, 1 from a corner, and 1 from a Ben Arfa assist. 5 goals nowt to do with a strike partner and I bet he's had considerably less time without a second striker. Hang on. One of his penalties was won by Best - his strike partner. How on earth did his 2 goals tonight not have anything to do with a strike partner? You can't possibly support that. It's obvious he does well with a partner and only a fool would attempt to second guess that. There's no reason to do so.

-
Don't know what the hell you were thinking of tonight, like.
-
Same old Tiote, really. At home he lingers between average and shocking; away from home he's one of the better CDMs in the league.
-
Some very generous ratings tonight.
-
Without him we'd be far lower down than that.
-
Gonna get murdered.
-
How hasn't he been getting a look in?

I see you are putting us with two promoted teams, we came up with you don't forget! What are you talking about? Putting them in the same bracket as them. I didn't. That's our last 3 fixtures, man Christ.
