Probably monitoring other clubs activity. Just to make sure there are 3 teams worse than us. If it looks like we need more players they'll bring them in....
-
Some daft website reckons McLaren wants Hernandez from Man United
-
Keegan as director of football IF he is given certain assurances. We know that he's got principles therefore it's highly unlikely but if Ashley genuinely wants to get it right he couldn't go far wrong by appointing someone who knows the club
-
The way things are looking we'd need a Rauol Moat type character to get rid of charver Ashley and Charnley. Even then the fucker would probably leave us to Ken Bates in his will.......
-
He's gonna have to get a move on if the extra fans forum is gonna take place before the end of the season. Another example of his lies. If they sack him maybe Ashley will let Charver prove he's the best Chief Executive in the Premier League. A sobering thought.

John Carver plays offensive football, so you're gonna be delighted. It is very offensive to be fair. The only way it could be any more offensive is if made the players wear Jimmy Savile masks

I think Paddy Ashdowns hat would be a better choice as head coach
-
To put it quite simply. Preserving the value of a 300 million pound asset is in the hands of this knob. He shouldn't even be near the youth teams never mind the first team.

Is it the one that has been leaked?
-
How great would it be if the AO lot could get him to back them. It would certainly swell their support
-
Maybe the conference is charvers level. One way to get rid I suppose #carverforgateshead

As a thought, if whatever he's had to say to this woman and to the others on Friday is so inspirational maybe he should share it via the press so we all know everything is going to be ok. Maybe he's told her he's losing on purpose to highlight to big Mike the need to get a better manager and better players. We can but dream.

Great idea but you can't even get an A4 sheet out without it being confiscated.
-
Get it added on to a few telemarketing lists who will spam him from Indian call centres

Thing is if you buy better players you need a better coach. When you buy players with resale potential it seems crackers that we don't put the right coaching staff in place to further develop them. Personally I think if someone comes in to buy the club Ashley will probably snap their hand off. You can imagine that he will have a parting gift like keeping control of the retail outlets and signing long term deals to his advantage over the kits and the sports direct hoardings. I just can't get my head around the way he runs the club when he is apparently an astute businessman. We ensure we have the right people in situ to do jobs at work effectively. If they under perform it is managed. I can't imagine Penfold sitting down and giving Carver a talking to......
-
There's no way imaginable he can get kept on for next year is there? Hopefully him getting nowhere near the job will be some consolation but it's gonna be rinse and repeat next season. The club is rotten from top to bottom. It almost feels as though the publicity Sports Direct get from the coverage of the club is actually a positive thing for the FCB. If we were doing ok and we're finishing between 7th and 10th we would be a non entity like Southampton or Swansea. That also wouldn't get much coverage in the media

Might be challenging to advertise in the stadium but could always fly a plane over the ground on a match day with a substantiated derisory fact about his businesses. Maybe if we could get 50000 JD Sports carrier bags which can be smuggled in people's pockets then held aloft at the appropriate time?

Thing is at this minute in time "doing a Leeds/Portsmouth/Southampton" might not be a bad thing for the long term future of the club. Yeah it will be humiliating and embarrassing etc but it would rid the club I believe of Ashley et all as we couldn't go that way under him because of his wealth I guess. The alternatives such as setting up a rival club might seem ridiculous might even be worth exploring and build up over the next 20 years or so as a credible alternative. I've not used my season ticket much at all this year as its not enjoyable any more. There's people there that take their kids to soak up the atmosphere and see us pit our wits against the likes of Man United who couldn't care a less that we lose because its to be expected. I don't think we have a god given right to success but a team that was remotely interested trying and a little bit of ambition wouldn't go a miss. We don't have an identity or purpose anymore, we are simply there to promote the tat emporium and remain members of an exclusive club which provides rich rewards to it's members through TV revenues..... I'd rather we had a team of cloggers in the conference who wanted to do their best....

If the new hotel was relative to the way Ashley runs the club it will be a replacement for the old B and B in Elswick called the Ponderosa

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/feb/10/brentford-mark-warburton-sacked-end-of-season Knowing how the clowns think at our club this fella could be the under the radar candidate... Former city trader as well...

Big difference is they wont get Newcastle for the paltry amounts paid for Pompey and Leeds... Any new owner would be paying big money and would want to protect their investment
-
Shoo in for Llambias to go up there I reckon
-
Difference is if it was part of the purchase price, it would be difficult to wiggle out of.....
-
One other factor to consider here is if we were a middle of the road Premier League team with no back page headlines (good or bad) it takes him and his tat brand out of the spotlight a little. If we're in the news albeit through controversy we're still making headlines, therefore his tat emporium stays in the news. Same as if he really was considering selling us. It wouldn't surprise me to see a condition of anyh sale that the SD advertising has to stay for a specified period, and he might even sign a 10 year shirt sponsorship deal before he sells us. Guess who wins again.......
