He was on the bench at the weekend. Cheeky loan bid would be funny!!
-
He'll join wor tiote with his great headline...! http://nufcpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/tiote.jpg For heed's a jolly good fellow Whoppernapper Barney Big Bonce....................
-
Puma probably don't, they're probably charging Ashley a fiver for the full kit. For the largest size top, shorts and socks it's over £80!! Some league one strips made by Puma look better quality than these!
-
this crossed my mind but wasn't the deal announced a while back? It was announced that they would be making our strips for the next two years, there was no mention of how much we were getting paid etc........
-
Bit of a long shot, but could the iron badges etc suggest that we are simply buying these shirts from Puma and that maybe they aren't paying us to wear their tops. This way, we could be paying about a quid per unit out of Ashley's sweat shops in Thailand, and making all the profit for ourselves. Bearing in mind how many tops we sell, wouldn't this generate more cash for the club. Pretty shite showing if it is like. Look at the shite advertising man, they're using the dressing rooms and a couple of coat hangers to take pictures.

You can just see the headlines on .cock, "JLS jets in to Toon". He might even get a bigger welcoming commitee than Owen. There'll be several thousand disappointed schoolgirls when they realise it's the wrong fucking JLS like. Llambias and Ashley are that thich they probably think they can make his transfer fee back with "JLS" emblazoned toon tops, the fucking clowns. We might be better off seeing what offers there are on JML. They've got some Toastabags that'll probably do a better a job
-
Llambias and Ashley probably think they could sell more season tickets by telling teenage lasses that JLS will be present at every home game
-
I hear wor Glenn is looking at this Kuyt fella. A kite is probably more realistic, given the lack of a transfer budget
-
Just been on Real Radio Kris Boyd is close to signing.......
-
This is what would probably happen I guess, although their ground will hold about 9000, I think realistically they'd get between 2=5000 depending on the opposition. Would there actually be that much of a police presence? I've been to Hartlepool once or twice and they don't have a huge police presence

The new 50% rate of income tax won't help either. It's on incomes of £150k plus a year. Most premiership footballers will be paying full tax after the first month
-
As we don't play tomorrow we're both on 24 games now so it levels it up really
-
I would reckon that given Llambias' affiliation with casinos etc that both the stadium and shirt sponsor will end up being gaming companies. There was something in the Chronicle in close season if I recall rumouring about Bwin being interested in a takeover, but Llambias denied this and there was some mention of discussing shirt sponsorship. I very much doubt that we'll see Sports Direct on the front of the shirts, but I wouldn't put it past the fat bastard to sign some long term naming deal on the stadium as a parting gift before he finally sells up. I'd hate as much as anyone to see the name St James Park disappear, but I'm sure that there will be a long line of companies interested in this. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that a company could just tag their name to the beginning and retain St James Park in the title, kind of like Bwin St James Park. Not an ideal scenario but better than losing our identity altogether
-
Local Company St James Security then there won't be much of a name change Knowing that fat twat though he'll probably rename it Kinnear Park the useless twat I think we need an Ashley emoticon kow that epitomises the smug look on his fat fucking dial
-
Saw that - he was commenting on the latest sale report about Ashley rejecting the moat bid. Claims neither side are making any comment about it (the report) Until Hughton signs on the dotted line I refuse to give up hope that we'll be sold
-
All this talk of Moat having no money to invest in the club is likely to be bollocks. I would imagine his business plan would allow for investment. Shearer's initial plan to get us promoted under his stewardship included investment in new players, so I would doubt he'd come and work for Moat if the conditions were the same as under Mike Ashley. Plus, you wouldn't look to invest that kind of money to stay still. You wouldn't buy a dilapidated house for the market price of a new one, then spend nothing on putting it right. Our situation is no different really. Even if the Moat was looking to sell on in a couple of years at a profit, decent investment is required to get us to the point where we have a sale value sufficient to warrant a healthy profit.
-
No longer in negotiations with the Yanks........... No mention of Barry Moat though

Everything we've heard so far about the KK situation is press speculation and bits of information/bullshit the club have decided to leak themselves. This will be essentially heard as a court case, and as such the truth will out. Perhaps then is the time to form an opinion of what happened during Keegan's last tenure here. It was a mistake in the first place bringing him back, and whether or not he was right/wrong for walking out at that time, we're now relegated, looking to bounce back at the first time of asking. Perhaps NUFC in this instance should stand for No Use Fucking Crying. We need to back the team, help them get back up and see how we move on from this. My first experiences of watching Newcastle languishing in the second division, losing play offs to Sunderland so I've known darker days. One thing that I have noticed this year is that the atmosphere seems better, and perhaps this one season(If that's all it is), will prove to be a turn around in our fortunes.

We own the building and the land is under lease. I am sure the lease will be worth something too, how many years left on the lease? The land is only worth something to people who do not want to use it as a football stadium, which the council will not allow. It just means the club can never sell up and develop houses on it, a bit like York city have agreed to do. The council can revoke the lease I guess but it is virtually never ever going to happen. To someone wanting to set up a new football club in Newcastle the stadium would be worth £100m to them as the only other option would be to buy or lease the land elsewhere and rebuild a new one, probably cost twice that to do it that way. I think it's a rolling 99 year lease or something like that. The land is owned by the freemen of the city, and I'm sure there is some sort of covenant that the land has to be used for a sports ground, hence why SJH wanted to turn it into a smaller arena type facility when the club wanted to move to leazes park

Wonder how many of these are still available?

Good point. Real talent. What's he up to these days? Playing for the Yids

It doesn't say anywhere that the deadline is a week. For all we know it could have been 5pm tonight, with an announcement to be made tomorrow. The promise of news today from friday could have been on the premise that the OD would have been signed off friday night, but it took longer than expected.
