  1. I've always liked Carroll.. He has the physical and mental attributes to play the heavy CF role.. I don't care if he's a dickhead off the field. Hopefully he'll continue to progress, because players of his type aren't easy to find nowadays
  2. what about the Geordie thing.. Are you a geordie if you're born in Gateshead?
  3. We shouldn't fuck around with this.. The wage bill is huge but we must offer him a good contract.. By far our best player this season. It'd be nice if we can get rid of the whole overpaid honest pro wanker crew.. then we can start again with players who actually have something to play for.
  4. played a few seasons with them on the latest FM.. very nice have a couple of random questions.. are people from Gateshead and South Shields considered Geordies? And is it fair to say that the majority in those places support Newcastle.. I met a mackem in Milan (of all places) the other day and he was claiming that everything south of the river was 'sunlun territory'.. that can't be true?
  5. what the fuck? who are these people? why haven't I met them? is this real? what's going on? what's next?? fuck it, I guess I should go out more. nufc1892, I'll be in Murphy's for the Everton game with our fellow forum member Toon Saint. I hope you lads are there, I'll wear the gay sky-blue nufc shirt and I'll be pissed. Can't wait to meet you.
  6. 4-3-3 keegan? Nothing? He and Owen saved us man! Keegan saved us.. Owen is just as bad as Viduka, as far as I'm concerned - expensive past-it crock
  7. goodbye and thanks for nothing, fat aussie bastard
  8. Good guy. Good keeper.
  9. true, also I dread what would happen if the players hear there was a protest somewhere outside the ground.. that would undoubtedly f*** up their psyche in an instant .. next thing you know Nicky Butt and Damien Duff will stop caring.. and Blefuscu, I respect your reasons and all, but judging by your last message, obviously NUSC's members are all brain-dead, and will undoubtedly enjoy being represented by chavs on tv. Fair enough, that's a possibility, but you should consider the possibility that the people who go to the protest/rally/whatever are actually people like you - poor sods who love the club. Only difference is they choose to 'voice' their opinion, instead of concentrating on their bevvies, like the true supporters should do.. what is their opinion? apologies if this has already been covered but i've been trying to get an answer all day on what this rally is actually for? You've wasted your day then, because I'm sure you know the answer.. people are unhappy, you know i'm sure i dont know the answer, thats why i've been asking, i'm not a mentalist. when i said what is it for i meant what are they hoping to achieve? peace in the middle east

  11. Yeah agree with you there Ian. Hughton knows the club, Calderwood has managerial experience - i dont think it can be any worse than having Kinnear there. I think its better to keep some semblence of continuity rather than bring another new face in and potentially cause further disruption/personality clashes. Agree.. it's not like they're taking over from Lippi.

  13. fucking hell.. poor guy couldn't even manage to lift his pants
  14. Absolutely spot on. All of them must go this summer. No excuses.
  15. But what if my belief is that the protests will be harmful and futile? Then surely I would be sticking to my principles much more by not attending? To be honest I'm not bothered if I come across as one of those people that 'boil your piss' or not, my reasons for thinking the protest is a bad idea are clear. Another example, shared by NUSC it seems, of the basic assumption that everyone must want Ashley out. I'm not staying away from protesting because I want Ashley out but think the protest won't work. I'm staying away because I want to give him a chance to make things work. I don't want Ashley out. I just want the people that are in charge of the club to run it more responsibly. The whole 'don't protest, we need to support the team' theory is, to put it straight, a big pile of crap. We won't lose games because a bunch of people have gathered somewhere to protest, we lose games because we have wankers like Butt and Duff starting every game.

    Jonas Gutierrez

3 decent games don't excuse 3 seasons of taking the piss.. and he's taken around 3 million from the club in wages.. If he was a player in Italy, someone would've sliced his throat in a dark alley a long time ago.
  17. I fail to see how a group of FANS voicing their opinion in a socially acceptable way is going to hurt the team's performances. You lot remind me of my fellow countrymen "Are you pleased with the way the country's being run?" "Fuck no, I don't have anything to eat" "Why don't you join the protest then?" "Because nothing will change" Such people boil my piss and deserve anything they get.
  18. I think that Hughton and Calderwood can do the job.. at least they'll be a better option than Brian Robson, Jerry Francis, Venables and the likes
  19. people have the right to express their discontent at how the club is being run, you have the right to not attend and post shit on a message board.. seems fair enough for me
  20. I don't know man.. I'm far away from things and it's hard for me to form an opinion one way or the other. I just feel that it's strange how nobody's happy with the way the club's being run, yet there's absolutely no sympathy for the people who are actually trying to do something about it.
  21. of all the things you can accuse them
  22. fuuuuck that.. Owen shouldn't be offered anything beyond 50k and Duff.. Duff should be shot
